A funny story... I detailed a Ford Explorer last year. The 3rd row seat was in the down position when it was dropped off. When I did the interior, I raised the 3rd row seat... it was in pristine condition and had never been used. When the client came to get her vehicle, she asked me if I installed another row of seats. Apparently, the third row was in the down position when she bought it and it had never been raised.

Worst day detailing , very early on: Ran out of food. Ran out of water. Was a disaster of all disaster details. Had to piss. 105 degree California summer day. Customer was never home, they left me the cash payment in glove box a head of time. Car was on an uphill slant in drive way and door hinges were blown. Doors fell back on me every time I opened them and needed to clean. I literally prayed my way through it. No joke. It still haunts me

I'm pretty sure that the consensus are that the hose reels comes with low quality hoses the coxx and cen tech if you look really really closely you'll notice that the h20 place that builds all the Vans are using a brand called Mr. Nozzle as they offer a really high quality vacuum hose

Rookie mistake but u learn on hose and other things will happen just make sure have tools and tape and paper clip to clean your pressure washer nose sometimes clogs u can use paper clip to clean it out 👍🏻 u got this 3 year mark will prove u stay in biz or go do something else after that it just gets easier to get customers and stay in biz doesn’t mean issues happen but less and by all that learning u be like bam fixing mistakes fast and easy and like a normal day put a bungee string hold the hose up in the air. Make sure you leave a crack open on the windows, so hit air drys tell customers too if not it will stay wet and make the carpet smell bad then u be back cleaning it again fyi

3:43 Poor placement of hosereel or generator - H2o does this mistake all the time, this has happend to so many detailers with H2o setups.

There's not too many options... a vacuum hose is going to be the least expensive of the 3 hoses/reels to replace so maybe that is their logic on it?

Mytee just released a new mobile detailing extractor. I have the one you use. I don’t like how the switches are by the wheels the new model has them up top. And I’ve had the hot water line come unplugged while extracting and it’s hard to get it back on while the machines pressurized. I think the new model fixed some of that. That being said the 8070 works well and has made me some money for sure. It’s also on sale everywhere right now.

I hate when that line comes disconnected! That’s great they have w new updated model. I also wish they would make the drain hose more durable, it’s too easy for it to tear with that cheap plastic hose.
