Thank You 🙏
The only discount I offer is my multi vehicle discount… multiple vehicles at same location at same time 10% off.
I also had an idea as looking to start detailing and gain some customers. Maybe take my personal vehicles to the local shopping center and start detailing it. I noticed you seem to always get people stopping by asking about your service when in a parking lot. Just a thought, what do you think?
@@mariol6095 I have a wrapped trailer that is basically like a giant mobile billboard and gets me alot of attention and business… if you are using a personal vehicle i would recommend investing in a quality sign to look more professional and stand out
Top Star! Can we get a polishing vid next? God bless
@@BenAndrade-l1d filming another round of videos in December and will try to work that in ;)

What business sells deionized water? I googled for my location in NC and pool companies or companies that sell the filtration systems came up.
@@korierm74 have you tried reaching out to other detailers in your area and asking them where they got their water?
@topstardetailing I will try that. I didn't know if certain types of businesses sold it or if there were actually companies that specialize in this. Networking locally may be my best bet in this case
@ I struggled with the same problem when I started, they are a pain in the ass to find… fastest way is going to be asking other detailers that’s what I did :)
Do you ever run into spots like the shopping centers where they tell you you can't detail the cars there?
Also, I noticed you took or showed taking more calls than past videos. Do you factor that in to yourself when thinking about the time it's gonna take to complete a detail about taking potential calls? Hope that made sense😅
@@mariol6095 it depends on the shopping center… if they have security patrols it’s usually a no go but otherwise you’re ok.
Taking phone calls is top priority and supersedes everything else… it’s new potential customers reaching out to you for free.
I take and book calls all day long and still get the job done on time ;)
Where do you get that Credit Card Machine? From your bank?
How much do they charge per transaction? A fee or percentage?
I try to keep my expenses low so I have customers pay cash, or through apps like Zelle, or Apple Pay.
@@thomasgrant5872 Bank of America… i think it’s like $3 per transaction
Tap on phone w/text or email receipt. Also accept Zelle, and checks.

I actually buy them a new battery through Orilleys and then sell the battery under my commercial account
@@Andys.Mobile.Detailing 👍🏼
I usually charge the client with that service processing fee
@@BestInClassDetailing just curious…do you ever get pushback on it for charging the fee?
@ yes of course but I let them know prior to making the appt with all the payment forms I take. I don’t tell them last minute that wouldn’t be fair. That way they have more than enough time in advance how they would like to pay.
@ makes sense 👍🏼
3 hours for a 3 row!? Are your vehicles even dirty!? lol. My crew of two average 3-4 hours for a full detail on a 3 row. We live in the Midwest so theres no shortage of dirt.
I have a very efficient process I follow and aside from taking a few minutes for drink breaks once I start im in the zone. If it’s extremely dirty or there is pet hair I will bill them for an additional hour if I need to, but im usually good with 3 hours of non stop work ;)
How do you still have time to go to the gym when you start working so early

All other business ad three percent for credit cards
Yeah I might need to start doing that in 2025 ;)
Dodn't offer that, if you jump start and do it wrong or can go down to hell. $$$$$ just offer to replace a battery for$50 they buy the battery. Extra change
@@juananddonepropertymainten2259 do it wrong how? The red goes on red the black goes on black and you push the jump button…. You’re already dealing with a dead battery so it’s not like you’re going to mess it up.
It’s not worth the gas, time and energy to get another battery and replace it… you’re essentially losing money at $50 on that way.
I let the customer pay the fee im not going to pay for that.. I let them know cash is this price with card it's fee plus
Taxes
@@ericthegamer92 yeah I might start charging the processing fee in 2025… they add up after while! Some states you do not have to charge sales tax on service based business… In Nevada it’s only if you are selling products.
@topstardetailing true that well I'm in California you know tax is must out here
@ actually I don’t think there tax on service based businesses in CA either, I know alot of detailers there. Google it… pretty sure it’s only on manufactured goods and products.
