What sets this guy apart from many others is the way he presents himself. He shows up with clean organized equipment, nice shorts and shirt, and takes care of himself. Lots a people think it doesn’t matter but it does. It’s a lot easier to trust and hire someone like this than someone that looks like they just rolled out of bed, put on clothes from yesterday and smoked a blunt. I used to have a small lawncare business. My equipment was nice and clean, I wore khaki pants or shorts, nice clean shirts, presented my self professionally. I had zero problems getting customers without even trying. Present yourself correctly and will be successful no matter what you do.

@@theunkownmr.562 yeah I try to stay healthy… had 2 surgeries in my first year of detailing carpal tunnel surgery and trigger finger syndrome surgery… detailing is really rough on your hands when you are doing it all the time. I have built a strong brand that brings in a solid flow of customers and I work alot of hours to be able to service as many clients as possible consistently every week. It’s definitely not easy and it takes a toll on you both mentally and physically, it’s exhausting, but it can be done ;)
I have thought about that one, but it’s complicated… the thing I think most people don’t realize is there is a significant cost involved with filming…. A full day of filming costs me $800 and to do a video like that would take all day… it’s hard for me to justify making one really long video vs 5 or 6 videos. Also most people’s attention spans are so short these days im not sure if anyone would actually watch the whole video… its hard to keep most people past 15-20 minutes you know what im saying? They got the attention span of a goldfish 😝 If I can figure out a way for it to be cost effective and not super long then maybe 🤔
I use Wix for my website and the Wix owner app integrates with that for scheduling and booking. For payment I have a Bank of America PAX payment processor that I can run credit cards on and the money goes directly into my business bank account with Bank of America.
The way I do it is for example my express detail on a car is $195 and on average will take between 2-3 hours depending on condition of the vehicle… but the time allotment for that detail maxes out at 3 hours… if it’s in a condition that will take me longer than that then I will charge accordingly based on the extra time. You have to have a set time limit. If it’s really bad condition I will just tell them upfront before starting that their vehicle would require our higher level executive package to give them the results they are looking for. It needs a deeper level of cleaning that will require more time to get it done the price would go from $195 (2-3 hours) to $395 (4-5 hours)
@@ArthurMSoto sometimes I find some pretzels or snacks under the seats while I’m vacuuming…. No mannn I pack a cooler full of drinks and snacks, fruit, protein bars, sandwich…etc Don’t have time to be stopping so gotta come prepared… plus it’s healthier and less expensive to bring your own food.
