I’ve tried a lot of tire dressings and my go to is p&s shine all. It’s pretty cheap and lasts at least as long as meguiars however it’s not as glossy. I use meguiars if someone requests a lot of shine
What I found worked best for windows or mirrors is just soap and water if you squeeege it off or use a 0000 wool pad you can scrub the soap and then just use microfiber. I noticed window cleaner in the sun leaves weird streaks while water and soap does not.
@@Soupraaaaaa That’s a good tip! I agree! I also use the wool pad sometimes, especially on cars with heavy smokers/vapers where it builds up on the inside of the glass.
I like using Suds Lab XA tire cleaner and TEC582 detail spray. I am mainly detailing our fire trucks and ambulances at work, so I want to use XA because the trucks are always caked with brake dust and dirt, which does the job. I am looking into Renegade Knock Out, Gyeon Wet Coat and Brake Buster. -JR
@@zepascua yeah I bet those tires get alot of build up on them. Knock out works great on the actual rubber tire, brake buster is a good quality product but not as strong for removing heavy build up on wheels, wet coat is probably one of my all time favorite products I use it every day!

@ knock out is more for cleaning the dirt off the actual rubber tires, brake buster is more for cleaning brake dust off the wheels/rims… I actually started mixing them together in one bottle to cover both. I have not used TEC 582 yet so can’t really give you an opinion on that product, but I will say I absolutely love Wet Coat and use it all the time. Maybe some people from the community will comment on the tec582? Hope this helps
One thing I do with my windows after I have cleaned them is to open them slightly so you can wipe across the tops of them otherwise it can get forgotten.
I use Copperhead for wheel and tires. The tires don't get super black but it cleans them good. And it is incredible on the rims get out the toughest break dust inside the barrel. Hands down so far Carpro retire is the best stuff I've used to get tires absolutely BLACK. Buy comes at at a heavy price. The Copperhead is $65 for 5 gallons! -Divine Detail

Hey Jeff, I noticed that in your Express Detail package, you mention cleaning the floor mats. Could you clarify how they’re cleaned in this package, since vacuuming and shampooing are only included in the Executive Detail? Just curious how the mats are handled in the Express Detail. Thanks!
@@TejeraLM vacuuming the floor (mats) is included with every package, cleaning rubber floor mats would also be included with any package… you can’t offer any type of interior detail package that doesn’t include that. Steam cleaning/shampooing the floors/mats would not be included in the express detail only in the executive package.

@@jayp9450 It makes keeping your wheel brushes so much easier, I usually use dawn in the wheel bucket and sometimes throw in an ounce of degreaser and it keep your brushes looking like new... grit guards in the bucket and all the grime falls to the bottom, then just hose out the bucket at the end of the day and you're good ;)

What about the liquid on the electronics on the steering wheels or radio areas or door speakers? Some cars have a buildup of dirt and grime. I've seen guys use their steamers to get that stuff off and it looks like it wets it pretty good.
Good question - I haven't had any issues with putting some interior cleaner on a detail brush and cleaning them lightly, but I wouldn't recommend spraying product on them directly. I don't normally steam clean any of the electronic areas, the actual steering wheel part you can steam all you want, but personally I avoid steaming the buttons directly, because you are correct water and electronics could cause some issues and I'd rather be safe than sorry on it.
Honestly the best method if your afraid. is to spray , scrub and use your vacuum to suck out the moisture. In particular, this method is good for perforated seats. Finish off with blow gun

No, but I know what you are talking about...it looks very similar to the Shine Supply one. The one I use is called the Amphibian Mini Glass Towel by AUTOFIBER. They are really great! I haven't used that flat-out wash pad from shine supply...any good?
I have had one client acuse me twice of damaging her car, she's old and I think a little out of it. First time I had my adult son helping me and I even pointed out to him the scrapes (with rust btw) on the wheel well. I told her theres no way we did that, first off its rusting, Secondly we didn't even move the car. Next time, about 3 washes later she says (with her demonstration of how she thought it happened) we scratched her elbow rest saying we must have got in the car with keys in hand. I said nope, we never do that, and also we detail multi million dollar cars and treat all like our own, with ultimate care! She dropped it, and I probably won't book her anymore and tell her that I dont want the liability. 😅

I charge $195 for cars/sedans, $240 for SUVS/mid size trucks, $270 for XL SUVS with 3rd row seating/ & minivans. My maintenance express detail takes me half the time and is half price as long as vehicle is being detailed by me at least once a month.
@@Nardog1554 no, the goal is not to persuade them... but rather to ask them a series of questions to find out more about the condition of the vehicle and what their expected outcome is... then you tell them about the 2 different packages available what each includes and ask them which one do they think would best suit their needs? Let them decide. If they are not sure then it's your job as a professional to make a recommendation as to which service would best suit them. It's about what's doing what is best for that particular client not about an upsell. If it sounds like it needs the executive package then yes you would say "based on what you told me about the condition of your vehicle then I would recommend the executive package to give you the best results" If it sounds like the car is in pretty good shape, no stains or heavy grime then you would suggest the express... there's no point in steam cleaning and shampooing clean carpets...etc If you always approach it by truly having the customers best interest in mind you will build loyal clients that will trust you and keep coming back to you. Good client for life, is much better than a one time money grab ;) Only upsell when the client actually needs the service you are trying to upsell. Hope this helps :)
I had a few people claim that I did something, but I showed them that nothing i use could possibly damage the vehicle. then they said it must have been there and they didn't notice. for filthiest tires I use superior products acid cleaner diluted 50 50 and then hit it with Adams wheel and tire cleaner 50 50. for most wheels that aren't bad, I avoid it and just do Adams 5 to 1 or more. I use 90 percent of my customers' bathrooms and am invited to pool parties and neighborhood events. If you're not close with your clients enough to use their bathrooms, then there's an issue with communicating and being friendly, or you rarely detail their car, so you're not comfortable enough to ask. I'll wipe the back window to check for residue, but you shouldn't clean them every time as it is very easy to wear away a defrosting coil line on the rear glass. .. be very gentle

I haven’t really tried using any acid products yet, they are just super toxic if you breathe that stuff or get it in your eyes… also a little scared to damage someone’s wheels, but I know it can work well if you’re comfortable using it. I friends with the majority of my regular clients as well and have been invited to hang out on occasion, but I just don’t feel comfortable using their bathroom when im working. It’s pretty easy for me because I can just go inside my trailer close the door and pee in a Gatorade bottle or something and besides reading it on here no one would ever know ;) Appreciate your input my friend! That’s why I always roll the windows down when I do an interior. More air flow + I have to acknowledge the dirty top of the window while they roll up

You have to try Koch Chemie alakline wheel cleaner it cleans really good at 1:4, you do need it in a foamer i pick it up in vegas

Super clean 4:1 tires or occasionally dawn soap lol 😝
I use dawn soap in my tire bucket, it works well on the wheels and cleans the brushes in the buckets. Plus it's cheap! ;)

The mobile detail shop:armor detail tire cleaner and armor wheel cleaner.they have one for tires one for wheels.
