Awesome! You have basically described color theory in a very short amount of time, so hats off to you. The way you speak about colors and art has really lit me up this year. Thank you!🌼✌️🎨🖌️
Elli, the most clear example are mountains. At the distance they look kind of blueish, but greens and ochres come to life in the foreground. Thank's for sharing your knowledge, you are very inspiring!!
Ohhh thank you Elli ! distinguishing and separating the warm and cold colors is just a huge discovery for me ! You have no idea how much time I spent correcting wrong mix of colors ! :)
I am so grateful for your video Elli! Your generosity is unbelievable, and your excitement is contagious! I have always avoided oil paints (too intimidating!), but now I would love to explore this medium! thank you so much for sharing your passion with us
This is an amazing program I am a distance student from another country and my skill has just taken off Its so rich from teaching you skill for painting and then marketing - I am half way through and cannot believe that I have created the paintings I have created in just 6 short months - Im looking forward to the rest of the training every week is an adventure
Thank you, very good video! I know the difference of warm and cool temperature wise. And Opage and translucent. And light and dark. But very good explanation of warm and cool in depth 👌🏼 also the samples with the horses tails. That dark doesn't necessarily means it will go to the background and the light to the front. Like with the dark tail on the left.
WOW!!! I learned SO MUCH in this video!!! Thank you for this! Does the same principle go for acrylics? I've never used oils. But I know I will! I have a plan to be able to afford the Mastery Program and I will definitely use them then. But for now I'm using fabric paint and acrylics. It works with these also?
Wish I could buy these in the Philippines. Do you also sell bigger tubes for colors like white, black, or yellow? I tend to run out of these sooner than other colors.
Hi Elli! I have just found you (Milan Art Institute) a week ago by watching the channel of a student of yours. Fantastic. I have a question: I teach K-8 Art in a private school and I am wondering how I can teach them about warm and cool colors as you teach your Art Institute students. Are kindergarteners a little young to learn your color theory?
They said these techniques don't apply to acrylic since it's plastic synthetic color instead of natural pigments. High-quality Pastel uses natural pigments that are the same as oils and watercolor, so (theoretically) yes, it should work.
@@bridgett039 thank you vary much u just told me the answer after 2 years lol ive been playing with colors to see what happens still not knowing if it was cool or warm tones xD
I hate to say this, but the background music is really distracting. It sounds like I'm listening to an infomercial instead of an online class. Please dispense with it, or make it quieter.
Finally someone made an easily understandable video explaining color temperatures.
Thank you for that perfect explanation !!!! fantastic
It's so nice to see products made by the people who use them!❤
Thank you Elli for your care ❤
I am a self taught artist and I never knew there was a warm and cold in colour. Thank you Elli
I agree with you.
Best colour lesson I've seen. Thank you!

Thanks Elli! Your hair was so beautiful then 😁💝

Thank you, Elli! This is a wonderfully clear explanation. I look forward to trying out these new paints!
You’re amazing elli! Thank you for helping me with my art career ! You’re a trailblazer 🥰🥰🔥🔥🔥

It's nice to hear! Were you an absolute beginner when you stared?
This was a fabulous lesson. Thank you so much, Elli
Thank you Eli.
Thank you! I’ve been using watercolours for years but now I’m tempted to get into oils 😂
Thank you so much for sharing your valuable tips 🎨✨ PS. I like the music, I think it's pretty motivating 🤩
Keeping this for reference. It’s great!
this is such a valuable wonderful video! I just wished the music wasnt so loud! it did my head in!!!😣😣
Do you have a list of warm, cold and transparent oil paints?
That’s a brilliant idea about your labels.
Super, thank you Elli so much!

Thank you Elli...
Very informative, one of my favourite videos of yours. Do these principles apply to acrylics as well?
Gorgeous painting s..
Great info, thanks, I think your teaching is genius! (Background music is distracting.)
Excellent, thanks!

I see the blue example as the cool one is vibrant and the warm is flat, so it’s reversed for how my eye is rendering which one is sticking out more
Thank you for sharing these things with us! I live in Italy, can I buy one kit to here?

Hey! Is there a list for these, since i already have so many paints… only found the gamblin list but is there another with more colors ?
I love all your knowledge on technique. Your art is not my cup of tea but there is a market for this art.
I love her art and her knowledge!!!!❤
can i apply this to acrylic and soft pastel color too?
They said these techniques don't apply to acrylic since it's plastic synthetic color instead of natural pigments. High-quality Pastel uses natural pigments that are the same as oils and watercolor, so (theoretically) yes, it should work.
Doesn't matter what media. You just need to know what color has a red or green bias.
the video was very good but the background music is very distracting because it was quite loud and busy
We’re do you sell it?
How can we buy those paint?
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. IS fluorescent neon acrylic paint warm or cool?????? ive tried researching but i cant find the answer.
I know this was a long time ago, but just in case, acrylic paint is man made and doesn’t have these properties
@@bridgett039 thank you vary much u just told me the answer after 2 years lol ive been playing with colors to see what happens still not knowing if it was cool or warm tones xD

Great tutorial. Unfortunately the background music is overwhelming the voice.
👏😇😇😇
Elli.
Why is the music so loud?
Why don't you ship to California?
b/c your representatives impose unreasonable laws and restrictions.
I love this but I found the music off off
And very distracting
The music is really disturbing. Is it music in your classes that is paid for as well?
I wish there won’t be that music!!!
I see it exact opposite lol
