At 8:49, in the left center the black fade is going up and over the lighter center part. There is what looks like an ancient turtle face shape where the faded black looks like the body and legs of a turtle.
I used Acrylic ink on canvas before and it seems like its never fully settles like regular acrylic paint and if you go over it or even rub it strong you just smudge it.
Ink normally isn’t lightfast. When it is with pigments it is. But like watercolour. You push the pigments from each-other the more light get to the pigments. When it’s in under layer and it peaks true it’s okay.
I have a question... When you use alcohol inks in your painting and then you want to varnish it, what do you use ? A lot of spray varnish will taint the alcohol inks and ruin the effect you were going for...
Hi, Do you need to be registered in a monthly program to be able to take the online classes? I’ve been a bit confused about that, and would be interested to take some of the online classes offered now and then.
Hello, Love the video but wanted to know, when you and your students paint on a canvas, are they always gessoed? or is there another property that you use to "PREP" your canvas? I ask because I thought I saw a can of Kilz in one episode of the challenge. THANK YOU.
Both! 1st layer_ high flow acrylics, then alcohol inks, lightly spray metallic spray paint for abstract base and let dry. 2nd layer_ acrylics. 3rd layer_ oil acrylics
I know! She really needs to take classes on her presentation skills. I would have thought that after all the years on RUclips, she would be better at talking to the audience. Please don't take this the wrong way. Just a bit of advice.

@sjustice280 It wasn't meant to be a personal attack - more of a critique. If anything, customers are more likely to buy something from you if you sound more professional - regardless of how good your work is. If you're putting yourself out into the world, you should expect to be criticised and even hated. The quicker you learn that, the better your life will be.
@@sjustice280 I used to say LIKE at least once in every sentence. Then I went to an interview for a job I really wanted. I’m talking along thinking I’m really killin it until the woman stood up and said “Sorry. I can’t listen to you say LIKE one more time. Good luck on your search.” Boom. It wasn’t that hard to stop. When I felt a LIKE about to come out, I just didn’t say it. In this case, she could watch her video before she posts, listen to how she sounds and do it over to deliver it with authority.
You reek of entitlement. By your cretinous logic you should have access to any online teacher's medical records and personal information. She's a "public figure" doesn't give you the right to any part of her she is not willingly sharing. In this video she is teaching, she is professing. Have some respect and mind your own business. If this was a vlog where Dimitra was getting personal, sure, ask away, it would be (maybe, depending on the vlog's topic) appropriate. Otherwise mind your own business and enjoy the free lessons. Do you also go on Neil deGrasse Tyson's videos and ask him how his latest prostate exam went? He's a public figure after all! You belong to the type of people who make the discourse on the internet so dehumanising and caustic. Re-evaluate your beliefs and values, they need a lot of work.

I personally think that's out of the kindness of their hearts, I also bought this, but hey then I also got lots of free info that others paid for, let's receive and give, there is a great blessing in that, blessings to you my friend

You can also just flick rubbing alcohol on wet surfaces to get the droplets effects
You ladies are amazing. The product you are putting out is fantastic. I see this "show" as the new norm in the art world.
Thank you, as usual fir sharing your knowledge with the world.

I love the underpainting effect
What avenue will you choose to seal/varnish your creation with the use of the alcohol?
Thank you so much !
Absolutely brilliant. 🌟💫✨✨

Can you show the inspiration photo please

Combining digital tools with or in your art is such an amazing combination but you have to use it wisely 😁💝
This was very inspiring . . . .
Are alcohol inks lightfast? Does it matter for underneath layers if it isn't?
Ink normally isn’t lightfast. When it is with pigments it is. But like watercolour. You push the pigments from each-other the more light get to the pigments. When it’s in under layer and it peaks true it’s okay.
What liquid did you apply to the canvas prior to applying the inks? Water? Alcohol?
Just water! :)

Please excuse my ignorance, but where do you get your source? I'm very new to this type of art.
Oh that was cheeky you really hooked me in :)
Fabulous
What did you wet the canvas with first?
just water!
I set a piece on fire once a long time ago using a heat gun 😂 Learned my lesson!
Is this on a canvas?
I love what they say, “messy “ no boundaries, they make you feel comfortable and not like “no wrong”.
Is this alcohol or acrylic high flow?

You use a source for that??? Why???
Thanks, I’m in 😁 Is Dimitra pregnant again or is this a video from last year?💝

Yes
Not everyone perhaps can afford it - so sharing is great
Yes even I paid for it and saw it here later
