- I remember when the CEO7's first came out. Neat guitar - kind of Gibson-esque but retaining the Martin vibe. Adirondack spruce tops on these too, which is nice.

The CEO 7 is probably one of the most iconic guitars made! I love mine ❤️
Me too and mine is only a month old (from new).
Same here! Great sounding guitar, I love it!
great playing & great tone
Beautiful!
I'd love to hear you play a 00-15m one day. 😊
Good demo,makes me want a ceo7.
The player does a good job playing and the guitar sounded great.
Trust me, better 'in the flesh'. It's a beautiful guitar to play, look at and own.
When Martin and Gibson have children there would sound like this..
Nailed it.
Problem is, Gibson originally copied a Martin and Martin has now returned to its old design. So it's really Martin through and through.
I always forget to listen to the guitars in Ian's videos because I'm always blown away by his cool runs and great playing! Like Mario Driessen.....
I'd love to hear you play a Martin 00-15. Sadly, I've heard, Martin has started using other woods in addition to REAL MAHOGANY (like Sapele or Sipo) for some of the 15 model
guitars. I hope that's not the case, but some of the 15 models sure look like Sapele.

I love my CEO-7…my lord the thing has got some balls…the Adirondack top really pushes some sound out compared to my 000-18- I’m a HOG guy- I also own the Guild M-20…of the three, this one has been slowly becoming the “go to”…it’s got volume- of the 3, if I’m outside, and there is space in front of me- this is the one- I’ve owned a lot of Martins, been through them all, 00’s to Dreads, and pre war to the new stuff- I’ve been through many of neck resets and and fret jobs and seen it all- I’ve settled on a 2020 000-18, and a 2021 CEO-7. Play a lot of them, don’t settle. Martin is still making a lot of very good sounding stuff, and they only get better…you can not go wrong with this guitar, but I will say, if I could only own one, nothing beats a good 000-18--NOTHING- understated perfection at its finest
Well said! I prefer the neck on the 000-18. I almost bought a CEO7 but the neck just didn't feel right to me. Digging my 000-18!
Love mine ! 🎸🎸🎸 Got it used 5 yrs ago ( mint condition at a nice price 🎸) . Fellow didn't like the neck. I like the modified V neck a lot. My gain, his loss.
Hello Ian, thanks for another great content. wonder how CEO7 and E10ooss sound different. Could you compare them pls?
Hey just watched your vid playing the Collings 001. How does this compare to that guitar?
How is the neck. I was looking at one a while back but never got to play one in person. I had a different guitar with a 1 3/4” neck with a big V and didn’t like it much.
The neck is definitely noticeable. I have an HD28V and It’s not as noticeable compared to the CEO 7
I love the neck on this guitar
Lovely sound, but not the classic Martin tone. Subdued midrange?
Hi Ian what was that last tune you played with rhe capo? Sounded great!!
I sold my HD35 175th anniversary edition to buy one. No regrets!
Why do you deaden the low e string?
Curious, why you fret the low E string right on top of the fret so there’s no sustain?
Because I'm an idiot that never learned how to properly play guitar

😂😂😂 I think you’re a great picker. You pick almost the same as me!
I bought both my CEO7 and my J45 in part from listening to your demos!
I tell myself I have a great guitar, and I do. I'm gonna let it go now
