I appreciate the videos on free and useful apps and add-ins for Windows and Office. There’s too many to search out and test for one’s self. Recommendations and tutorials are always a great way to learn about them.
hey Kevin , I am a civil engineering, was not much into softwares , but your videos are helping me to learn so many new things , I just want to thank you for all your videos
There’s ALWAYS something useful and new in every video u make..this one is a lifesaver for me as a teacher ..THANK YOU KEVIN
My school used Microsoft Teams for online classes, and i always watch ur video, its help me alot to make my class more fun. Thank you😁👍
I've been watching a lot of videos the past four years. This was a really well made video.
I enjoy Kevin's videos, they are fun to watch and I always learn something new eventhough I consider myself to be computer savvy. Thank you very much Kevin.
Thanks for the note Carlos!
Thank you so much for making yet another fantastic video! Love your work! You are the first person I subscribed to on RUclips . You make my online teaching job much easier. I am promoting your channel to all my workmates.
i was going to make a video for youtube channel but then i saw your video and it gave me boost. thank you so much 🙂
Kevin, thank you so much for this video. I teach small children so this will be really helpful when I am teaching math. You have saved my life.
can they see the annotation?, i recorded my lesson and i cant see any annotation that i did on my shared screen
Omg i needed this for my Thermodynamics report. Thank you!
Thank you for this tutorial, Kevin. I already used Zoomit but there were a couple of things that I didn't know how to do and you covered them all!
Glad it helped!
Excellent video. A surprise that MS doesn't include this functionality in Teams as standard
I'm sure it'll come at some point. Right now it's just another feature request on the backlog.
Agree we have to bear in mind the rediculous number of other requests still in the queue
@@KevinStratvert Should be at the front of the backlog :) Annotation is a basic requirement for meetings.
@@JonathanNeilRhodes Fully agree. I imagine that if I asked MS to build me a house, and found out there are no windows, they would be like "submit an idea to our community and ask others to vote it up". :))
@@radekou agreed, hopefully it gets done soon. ha, nice example with the windows. Although it turns out that it's also missing a bathroom and a kitchen. Which one do you start with? 😁
I been looing for your channel from arrive of internet. You have tremendous talent in communicating the essence of software functionality and best practice recipes for all computer users - Mountains of thanks for your outstanding tuition and tips
Thanks Kevin - your videos are very informative and clear. As a teacher I appreciate it
Life changing tool. Thx! Can't wait for this to be embedded into MST.
Very helpful. Made me realize my version was out-of-date. Even your version needs to be updated - there is now an option to do a Screen Record (Ctrl-5) and ScreenSnip (Ctrl-6)
Presentation with colours remains interesting & exciting. Useful in teaching.
Great video! I just loved it... I was looking for this to make presentations more interactive, like a kind of whiteboard. A huge thanks, Kevin!!
Glad it was helpful!
This was amazingly informative! Really appreciate to listing of alternatives as well, and your own opinion.
Thanks! Your videos are always so professionally done and easy to understand.
Excellent presentation Kevin. Easy to follow and I'm all set!
As Always, So informative and helpful. You have been a great help since lockdown and working from from home. Cheers, keep it coming
So practical and easy to understand! AMAZING!
Stunning video for making the presentation excellent. Thanks to you for sharing these tricks.
Super helpful! Thanks for the video to help me prepare my lesson in two days.
Amazing. You just made my job easier. I'm sharing link with my coworkers. Thx.
Excellent tool! Thanks for sharing this tip Kevin! Can I use it with a digital table? It's not working for me. Tks in advance for your attention.
This video is so helpful, but I can think more traditional video from you along with Microsoft Teams screen annotations. This video is more traditional way to learn annotate your screen while using Screen Sharing choice. I think this looks good. All your tutorials is the best one of the step-by-step tutorials for beginners.
Kevin, please save your videos from uncommercial viruses, other malwares and other spywares. I kinda like this video.
Thank you! Downloaded and now using!
thank you so much! do we to go to the application each time we want to use it?
can we annotate and zoom in in the same time?
Thanks, Kavin, for this best video n exceptional perfect explanation. Was searching for this tool for a long back.
so amazing! timely for webinar trainings
Thank you, you saved my life.
Your videos always teach something cool and useful🙂
Your video are so informative and helpful
and i always learn new things in Microsoft from you.
Can you do more tutorial on Power Automate?
Awesome, I enjoyed listening to you and learning from you, clear and to the point.
This is something I have been looking for !! thank you
this was a good video kevin. i would request you to make a video on how to integrate kahoot with teams and how to go about assigning an assignment using kahoot.
Very nice. Thanks a lot, Kevin. Can't wait to use this
Fantastic Kevin! Thank for the insight on the zoomit tool.
Thank You So much for ur knowledge sharing Sir
wow!!!! thanks!!! nice tools for my online lectures....
Thank you so much for this super helpful video! I am a speech therapist who had previously used annotate with Zoom for my therapy sessions with elementary aged students with much success and now needs to transition to Teams. If I have ZoomIt running and share my screen during a Teams meeting, can I give control to a student so that they can annotate on the shared screen or will I be the only one who can draw or type on it?
Super well done. You are a great teacher.
Great video!!! Very useful! I’ve started using ZoomIt in teams meetings, and everyone wanted to know “how did you do that??”
Thank you! That's really helpful.
Love your content. Your tips and tricks are so easy to follow! Can you do perhaps do a video on how to get a PC to become fast again? :( My laptop has gotten a bit slower over the years and I'm hearing the fan getting louder. Thanks for your amazing vids!
Is your laptop using Hard Disk. If yes, then u get 10 times speed improvement, if you replace your Hard Disk to a SSD.
Yet another great video from you Kevin. Thank you. Do feel a bit conned though. Video title made me think the annotation features were in Teams. My employer does not allow instalation of third party tools on their PCs.
Yeah, unfortunately Teams doesn't yet have native annotation tools. Depending on what you're sharing, the app may have annotation tools. For instance, both OneNote and PowerPoint have native annotation tools. Hope that helps!
Thanks for all the useful information you share through your videos. Can we use these annotation tools to check assignment in Teams?
By attaching the "StrokeIt" program to ZoomIt and configuring mouse gestures as key combinations, e.g. CTRL + 4 as Z, etc., you can control zoom, drawing ("CTRL + 2" as D), color changes (keys R, G, B, O, Y, P ) only with the mouse.
Thank you sir Kevin for this very informative video.
Thanks. A really, really useful video!
Very enlightening, awesome, thank you so much!!! :)
Super helpful and crisp !!
This will be a great help. Thank you 👍😎🇦🇺
Thanks so much Kevin - yet another brilliant video (your videos are so great I subscribed from both my accounts!!) - I'd love to see more plug-in applications/extensions for Microsoft platforms - always on the look out for these useful plug-ins! You should have a quiz via Forms on what we'd like to see next.....or not! Have a great day Kevin!
Sure thing Bill. I was wondering how my subscriber count increased so much 🤣 I'll use Polls more to see what people want to see next. My backlog of video ideas keeps growing and I can only produce them so fast!
@@KevinStratvert Another idea to grow your subscriber base - give each new subscriber a cookie from the Kevin cookie company???? Have a great weekend!!
@@KevinStratvert I would be curious to know the percetage of "teachers" here. May certainly be one of the reasons.
Exactly what I needed. Very good quick presentation!!
Kevin - Almost a great video, I tried to use it, with a live camera running and the CTRL +2 draw mode freezes the camera? how can I draw in a powerpoint window and run a video in teams?
doesn´t support pen stlus or tablets, just draw mouse click. frustrating was so perfect to be real
Thank you so much. Great video
Great video, but its missing the fact that annotation is used to engage participants, so that THEY also annotate not just the presenter. Is there something that we can do about that untill this feature is activated on Teams?
Excellent and so much helpful!
Thanks that was very useful. Can you make a video showing how to view students one screen at all times, while presenting on the other screen?
Useful video! thanks a lot, Kevin!
Very informative. Thank you
Hi Kevin. Congratulations on your success with RUclips full time! I’m concerned about potential bullying in Microsoft Teams as in a secondary school teacher. Is there a way that students can mute others in chat?
I am trying to help school therapists to work on Teams, but the interactivity in Teams is still limited. Thx a lot for this video.
Hi Kevin - thanks so much for your videos - love your energy. Do you know if there is anyway to annotate when sharing a powerpoint through the Browse option as ive found its the only way to share slides and still see the participant bar and chat and their Teams videos at the same time as my slides?
Kevin, great video. Do you know when Dynamic View will be released for teams? thanks!
Very very useful........ Will try it out on my next presentation.
Thanks for this!
Nice video! I wish someone would make a video on How to Annotate Screen in PowerPoint using Zoomit.
This is something that Microsoft, obviously, needs to add. Especially since many if not most corporations prevent you from using any "free tools."
You are awesome, one request please create a video on setting up infra for Microsoft power automate
Here's an intro video I did on Power Automate: ruclips.net/video/dDO4Y4aDYXw/видео.html Let me know if there's more that you want to see covered.
Thank you so much. This was very helpful.
Good to watch this video tutorial. Thanks.
Hi Kevin, this is a fantastic presentation-tutorial of a great tool that I have been dreaming of but haven't had the time to see if it existed. Thank you. But, a question: why can't I find/use my mouse pointer/cursor when in the timer mode?
this is so helpful!!! thank alot Kevin!
Hey Kevin, recently subscribed to your channel. Thanks for sharing these videos, these are really helpful. One thing I like about your videos is that you cover generic questions that we as end user seek answers for.
I have been wondering how to annotate screen in MS Teams, and this video would help me a lot. However I have one question, can I annotate a screen that is being shared by other participant over the Teams meeting? Zoom allows the annotate feature within the app, I just wanted to check if ZoomIt would allow the same in MS teams meetings? OR this only allows to annotate over the screen I share myself over Teams meeting but not other participants?
Hi, I am also looking to be able to annotate a screen that is being shared by another participant. Did you get your answer?
Thanks for your video, it's really a good tutorial on how to use this tool. Wondering if there's anything similar to highlight the mouse cursor? I think you're using the OBS functionality, I would like to have something in Teams to allow do that as well.
You are the best! Thanks
Fantastic video mate. We recently migrated from Zoom to Teams and I have been struggling with the lack of annotation tools. Why doesn’t Team have it?
its really wow factor!!!!! thanks kevin
great how-to! thanks!
You deserve more subscribers
Thank you! This is very helpful!
Everything works except for the Tab + Left click.... No ellipses. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Also, I heard that earlier versions allowed for the draw tool to be compatible with touchscreen, but for me only the mouse works. Is there an update to this?
Super Nice Tool, Thanks!!!!!!
Thank you very much. Great help
Thanks for the great job. Excellent Video.
Thank you for the video!
I am able to use the tool on my device on MS Teams, however the attendees cannot see my drawings. Please help!
Awesome ... thank you so much Kevin
More math education tips for ms one note ( especially with copying files to a shared notebook / the student notebooks )
Do you know if there’s a way to get the “ rocketbook “ app to share directly to the class shared notebook?
you are best teacher keep it up
Would love to see a video on how to use the new breakout rooms function in Teams. Thank you.
ruclips.net/video/d_iD5PLgr08/видео.html
Will do! I know Teams is working on formal breakout rooms support. Keep an eye out for an update soon.
wow thank you so much, this was really great
thank you very much this is really very useful tool
Thanks!! This video is awesome! 😊
Excellent video.
wow, i didn't know about it
