Respect to Stephen for giving customers what they pay for. At my local McD's you might as well order a small fry because they really don't put any more than that in the large box!
Takes me back to the days when I worked at McDonald’s and ran the fry station. Was always hectic when it was busy, hard to keep up when it was busy but I enjoyed it.
Team player, just because you're on "fry duty" doesn't mean you're only doing fries. Love it. and thanks for sharing what you do. more people should be watching these videos
Thanks for the uploads Stephen. It's really cool to get a look into the inner workings of McDonalds! Congratulations on all the success and we appreciate all your uploads.
I'm glad your McDonald's still has the red cardboard boxes for fries. Most of the McDonald's near me have switched to paper pouches (like the small fries) for medium and large too, and the sizes are smaller than they used to be. The new large is only slightly bigger than the old medium.
@@elvergia3714honestly McDonald’s isn’t even all too unhealthy, the most common unhealthy thing in McDonald’s are the fries, they are fried and lose most of the potato nutrients and have a lot of sodium. The burgers are fine, regular meat and toppings
This is one of my favorite stations to work because no matter what your always working there barely any breaks in the action and it kind of of like little mini game

I feel like this location's got great, fresh food (McDonald's standard great and fresh mind you) and clearly runs at a "fast food" pace as it should. I'm jealous!
Last time I had McDonald's, my large fry containers were only partially full. I exclaimed to myself that the restaurant could have added another fifteen fries to each one.
Can you please do a video on all the prep, like preparing the slivered onions, iceberg shredded lettace, crinkle cut pickles, tomatoes, and dill pickle slices?
This needs to be a training video for every McD's on the planet. Because every single one I've been to, my fries are always lukewarm at best, usually cold, and never more than 2/3rds full...

Great video as always...serious question now: What type of salt is used on the fries? I always find salt used at McDonalds different to the stuff I use at home....
Speaking as a former McDonald's employee, it's usually either 2 things, 1. Lazy employee who doesn't care at all. 2. Manager wants to save money and tells their employees not to fill them up. I would always fill up the fries because I HATED barely getting any on my larges. But my GM got on my case about stuffing fries because of food costs. Although, all the other managers were cool with me filling fries, so I just did it when he wasn't around.
I clicked on this so fast cause I was hoping to find the optimal time for fries. I hate when I get them and they are so hot and hard. I also hate when they've been sitting too long and they are cold. In either of those two situations, they are really hard to digest. The sweet spot is when they are warm but slightly soggy and soft with crisp edges. Because it soaks up all the salt and flavor. They taste delicious that way. Like they're not overcooked and they haven't just been sitting around forever.
In 1959 when I had my 1st meal, fries were perfect and tender! NOWDAYS, not salted well enough, not always tender and all Scrap Pieces in the bottom! No ex uses except the quality of fries have gone down and prices WAY UP! It costs 20 cents for the fries in a Medium Order!

I sure wish I could figure out why my local fast food places are ALWAYS missing items from an order. It's not just one place either. They ALL are horrible. I'm getting real tired of spending money and then finding something missing. Oh you ordered 2 hashbrowns? How about we just give you 1. Oh you ordered a drink, well how about no straw. To top it off, McDonald's doesn't even have an option in their app to report an order being wrong, missing items, etc. The whole reason for ordering in the app is to make it harder for employees to screw my order up.
the last mcdonalds i went to was under renavation dining closed only drive thru. 30 minute wait to order. by the time it got my order my nuggets rock hard fries as cold as bricks. horrible. complained to corporate they suggestest i go i different mcdonalds until renovations complete. ugh😢
I work at McDonalds, and sometimes on the little timer screen thingys it will ask you if you would like to filter the oil, which is when the oil drains, the vat is cleaned, and then filled up with new oil. Something that confuses me is that how do you know when someone needs small or medium or large fries? Because I see you just make fries

Usually, there's a screen that tells you how many fries you're supposed to make based on how many orders you have currently.
