      Maybe 5 ?, how long have you been here ?, actually there's plenty to do in Adelaide, the longer you are here the note you figure that out, did you catch any of the fringe shows? Adelaide a rural town ?, Ha Ha, funny, nah it's just a small city with the friendliness of a smaller place yet still having Rd Sheeran concerts etc at Adelaide Oval and all the facilities of a proper city, and easier to get around.

    My wife and I retired to Adelaide together with my 86 year old mother in law at the beginning of 2022. Never looked back, truly amazing place and everyone so friendly.

    We are hoping to move to Adelaide in a few months’ time. We visited a while ago and were blown-away by how friendly people generally were and also loved all the beautiful old buildings. I am hoping there is a lively theatre scene as this is one of our passions.

    • @kurosenpai101

      Not sure if you have managed to move down already but if you mean musical when you mention theatre, then there is definitely a lively theatre scene down here. Alot of my friends partake in musicals and alot of the time throughout the year you'll hear about all the musicals you can see. I myself took part in a musical with Davine Productions and that was straight out of highschool. Alot of the cast memebers I met were so friendly despite the evident age gaps but within the first 2 rehersals it already become a family. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do musicals anymore but I do enjoy attending my friend's shows and seeing them under the spotlight.
      I hope this helps answer your question

    Wow, Adelaide looked a cross between some country cottages, rows of very short greenery, a drunken afternoon at some chateaux and at least one impaled wildlife to keep up appearances.

    How affordable is it for an expat to live there. I lived there in the mid 80’s it was very affordable then! Curious to know if I should relocate there or Bali!

      Hey Rickey! Great question. A cost of living in Adelaide would be a great video idea 😂 It is more affordable than other major cities in Australia and the quality of life there is amazing. We have a cost of living video for Bali if you're curious bit.ly/Balicostofliving

      You would need 600k plus, a house for sale in Trott Park had 110 people look at it. Houses from 2001 back then 150k now around 700-750k

      Not enough housing for all the people moving there. That’s Simply pushing the prices up. But if you’re from Sydney or Melbourne and moving here you’d get a lot more of everything for much less than what they’d sell their houses for.

    I love strawberries too but go easy on them, this is probably one of the most sprayed with pesticide and other chemicals crop in the Western world. Even rinsing them with water them doesn't help much Unless they are organic of course which is very rare.

    • @steveandnadia
      @steveandnadia  Год назад +1

      Hello Artur! Thanks for the tip on the pesticides, not really into ingesting too much of that stuff. It was only a one time thing so not too much exposure there. Hope to return though, so will try our best to resist or maybe even bring some salt or bicarb soda so we can get stuck in again 😂
