I Know you cant enable freesync with an hdmi cable if you have an nvidia gpu..but does anyone know that it does work with a cable that you with a diaplayport(gpu) on one side an hdmi(monitor) on other side??
@@PowerMiner not really most shooter like Rust or even CS2 came with reflex+boost option, just use it with your gsync and it will lock for you your fps

Never knew G-Sync required DisplayPort to work. My Razer Blade only has an HDMI out, no DisplayPort. Glad I just shelled out extra money to get a monitor with G-Sync that I can't use :D

I can enable this through HDMI. There maybe a newer driver allowed this. I have an LG TV and I can inable g-sync and my tv shows up as g-sync compatible. A friend of mine has an LG mointor and only has hdmi on his laptop and he has been able to get it to work. I am not sure if this is a newer function with a recent driver update.

1 thing don't enable vertical sync if u play competitive and just select the max refresh rate of the monitor in game settings..
