That car was the reason for the gentleman's agreement. A 300 something HP production car that was marketed to the everyday driver at an affordable price point? Unheard of, Ferraris and Lamborghinis were the only things making 300-400 at the time
Bit harsh, the Infiniti G37 manual coupe is one best cars Nissan ever made IMO.
They are pretty dope to be honest!
You forgot to mention that the second generation Frontier was produced for SIXTEEN YEARS before Nissan released the third gen this past January

I love my 2g Frontier. Just drove it to Colorado currently there wheeling it in the mountains about to drive it home. Definitely a dated truck but it is a trooper
@@FitmentIndustries you missed tons g35, g37 being one of the most sold sedan and carrying nissan/infiniti the now not so much underrated cd009 transmission, vq37hr, pretty timeless body style like i get youtubers wanna stay around the 10 minutes mark but if you’re gonna drop an informational video on a company instead of deopping a video with known information to the general car people to reach ur monthly view margin dive in and give a breakdown. This is why I’ve strayed away from this channel and by looking at the views many others as well. Just gonna wait for donut media video at least they get it right most of the time

Actually the q50 and q60 are really cool cars and can be made really freaking fast. I believe stock turbos u can run high tens. Record is like 10.5 on stock turbos that’s pretty good!

nissan was crazy in the 90s if they kept going in the direction they were going they would’ve been the best car brand
My first Nissan I’ve owned (and still own) is my 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R, and that car made me fall in love with Nissan. I now have a G35 coupe that I’m dailying while the SE-R is getting some much needed love. Also have had a newer Sentra (2016) that I had for a while but they’re really and truly only good for around 100k miles before the transmissions start to have problems.
I had a Nissan cvt last to 375,000 and was still going strong when the car was totaled 🥲

Also I’m an Infiniti tech. I can confirm we take forever to update our shit😂 but when we update it it’s definitely nicer on the inside
I'm not a huge Nissan fan but I really like the Xterra for it's capability and the new Z looks very promising for years to come

I wouldn't put Infiniti as a negative as a whole. G37 was great, and q50/q60 are some of the best they've made. It's more just Infiniti suvs that let it down

Love my 370Z but will never own their other cars aside from the GT-R. I'll stick with Toyota for my daily driving.

I do find your infiniti segment to be extremely biased and lacking research for fact infiniti is killing it with their Red sport lineup, their sport trims in sedans, the Q60's etc.

Bro, y’all do know we’re in 2022 now? And so is Nissan? The Altima reputation is ass I’ll admit but the cars are at that price point for a reason. If you want, go buy a Toyota or Honda. And as far as CVT, they aren’t trash just stop driving on without proper maintenance and flooring the mf as if it were a z or gtr.
^^EXACTLY. A lot of people who actually start to have issues with them either neglect regular maintenance or buy them used from people who neglect regular maintenance. My CVT Sentra was great but I personally hated having a CVT, not that it was messing up or anything, just hated not hearing my car shift into another gear.
Infiniti newer stuff is garbage. The G35/37 are there best cars ever built.
