First time I ever seen one actually take there time and being cautious moving it and loading it!!
Would have liked to see them duct tape some foam, rubber, or towels to the forks to minimize scratching, but yeah he did a nice job with it.
Loader probably saw the vid on the pan that Alex had to replace on the Viper...

When picking vehicles up from the side with a forklift, you can use wood blocks like 2x4 or 4x4 to keep from damaging anything from underneath like the exhaust or driveshaft. Takes about 4 pieces of wood depending. I know because I do this regularly due to my job in import/export loading and unloading vehicles from racks.
Picking it up from the front like that, you can use 2" ratchet straps to hold onto the bumper or frame or some other point to the forks and that would have allowed you to pick up the whole truck, without it tilting back like that.

Hell yeah. The 'El Jefe' burger. That is what I ordered along with 3 Miller Lite pints/yards in Jan 2016 when I drove from Long Beach to NJ. Recommended. Crazy music nights there.

Off to the frame rack. I'd be shocked if all that is just in the sheet metal!! Too many signs.
I guarantee that the frame is bent. Good news is those frames are all cold steel which means it can be massaged back into place without compromising it's strength. Pull slow, add heat to help it move and measure over and over. I would love to be playing with this rig!! I remember when Richard went to sell it, the battery went dead and they were having issues starting it to get it across the block.
The truck got my notice and i watched the build on that truck and that did get me to Subscribe! Can't wait for more videos!!!

Not a customization or a restoration.
What grabbed my ass is this kid buying this truck and using somebody else's works as a promo and people calling it a build.
It's a repairable a restoration of sorts.
A Build is starting with an unmolested vehicle not something that has already RECENTLY been built.
Go look at the links I posted and watch it done right the way GAS FLUNKY should have done.
Maybe this time it might get a proper chassis.

@@fr_clan.official8938 According to the show, the new owner had brought the truck to GMG to get some minor cosmetic damage fixed. So when they wrecked it their insurance had to pay for it. I'm just wondering why they needed to test drive it on a freeway in the first place. Since the original damage had nothing to do with driveline or suspension you wouldn't think a test drive would have been necessary. As far as this truck being in the background shots, I'll take your word for it. I hadn't noticed.
Man Mountain Link actually I’m pretty sure it had a bad rear diff if I recall? The new season has the whole incident in an episode. I just can’t remember why it was out for a drive but rear diff is ringing a bell

You couldn't put the truck in neutral to move it with front end up? Did you check the glove box for the radio?
@Dave Micolichek so strap it to the fork lift. 20 yrs in towing it could have easily been done.
@Dave Micolichek he was moving it 10 feet not 10 miles could have easily been done. But to each their own he got it done on the dollies.

Many of us would just use a 2 ton jack under the front cross member and rolled the truck!

Frame was bent before this accident. Insurance scam just like his supposedly stolen hell cat. Insurance fraud. This dude is an idiot buying this.
Frames can be fixed lol even if you cant put new rails you can weld in a half frame
There is a store in Kansas called “LMC” you should be able to get all the parts for the build.

This is going to be a sick build, very different vehicle than what is normally rebuilt on youtube. Will be interesting to see how the crash energy transferred on an older vehicle. I feel like there will be damages through out but hopefully minor besides the front end

@@anastyb I do real restorations kid. RUclips rebuilds are entertaining, new and old vehicles. This one is way different then the normal WRECK rebuilds, and there is surely damage throughout that truck. Restoration is nice, Ive seen thousands of hours of restoration, from spike tv every weekend over a decade ago and even more since youtube was created on top of working on them. Restorations to complete custom jobs, and more recently collision repair, I've seen and been involved in all of those types of work. What I have seen the least of, is a combination of all of those things. Rebuilding a restored wrecked classic custom. That is why this series is going to be so good

@@anastyb very nice restoration and custom work. Not sure if you only like videos but there is some good forums out there documenting builds that are still in progress with extra pictures, details and discussion about the cars. So much content to look at itll make you want to claw your eyes out
