Most of this video will prep your “brakes”. By training your body to slow your arm after your throw you will indirectly be able to gain velocity. If you think of your arm as a car, you have to be able to stop what you produce. You wouldn’t put civic brakes on the wheels of a lambo. You would have to drive (throw) slower to be able to decelerate properly.

I do it after every time I throw
Good practice 2-3 times per week year round, potentially as many as 4-5 in season
