for Fundbox is a soft pull to see if you qualify and then a hard one as soon you do the draw and a lien? 😳

Great information
Glad you think so!
This is such good information to know! I've never heard of invoice financing. This info is definitely something I will keep in mind for the future. Question that came up when you were talking about the individual companies: what's the difference between a line of credit and a credit card?
Hi Brianna, thanks for watching! A credit card if tied to the business could have probably a maximum of $50,000 credit limit while the credit line attached to the business could be upwards of 500,000 because it will be connected to the assets of the business, ie. accounts receivable.
@@LeoLandaverde Oh! Very interesting. I'd always thought it was the same thing. Thank you for explaining that!
Awesome! Glad I can help!

Hi Leo, I've been in business for around 3 months now, I have an LLC but small capital will be super helpful to grow. Do my "so new" business qualifies for funding??
Hey Martin, thank you so much for watching my videos. The answer to your question is it depends. In order to get a loan you have to prove the ability to pay which means you have to have revenue. The bigger the loan, the more requirements. For instance, any loan over $100,000, the lender is going to want to have your debt service coverage ratio be at least 1.25. I would suggest that if you want to start up, Try building your corporate credit and see if you can get a couple of corporate credit card paid do you EIN number. What do you think about that?
Put links to these lenders...
I would like to start a embroidery business, which lender would be best for me
Hi Regi, Unfortunately, I don’t know of any lender who will give money to a start up without revenue. Most lenders I work with require a $25,000 a month minimum and revenue
Sir, Could you suggest few credit unions & small banks actively looking for new business loan customers. Banks are sitting on billion of dollars cash hoard & are getting only 2--3 % on CDs & that is not productive for the banks. Thank you.
Hi there, depends what city and state are you in. All you really need to do is go to Google and look for your local banks and credit unions. I guarantee you that 100% of them are looking for new customers. Landing is one of the primary ways that they make money
Moral of the story is. If you wanna pay high interest loan your option is an Unsecured loan. If you want a much cheaper loan your option is a Secured loan.
This is a great recap. Totally agree.
I'm just looking for a loan to startup a new biz. Have a current small biz just over 4 years old running strong. What's my best option for 75k give or take?
What type of business are you starting?
If they checking your credit does your debt into income ratio disqualifies you if it's too high?
Hi Darcelle, That’s a really good question. But, actually two different topics. Yes, any lender will check your personal credit score to make sure it meets it’s criteria and separately they will analyze to make sure that you have enough capacity to handle the loan with a debt to income ratio analysis for the business. Say your credit score was great but your debt to income ratio is not good and depending on the size of the loan, lender may turn down loan.
@@LeoLandaverde Thank you- is it possible to get a loan without using my personal s.s #? I would like to use only the EIN #. What loans allow you to use only the EIN under the business name?
It is very unlikely that you will get a loan without using your Social Security number specially if you’re a start up. Don’t know how long you’ve been in business before a business is less than five years old I guarantee you you will have to use your Social Security number. The only way around it is that if you want to get a credit card under your EIN assuming that you have either an LLC or an S Corp.
@@LeoLandaverde very helpful, thank you!
