I just updated my MacBook pro 2013 to OS Catalina and it works PERFECTLY! Thank you!! pro tip - start by trying to download the latest version of the OS and the app store will tell you if it's compatible with your computer when you click on "Download". start with trying the most recent version and work your way backwards till your laptop accepts the latest version it can handle. My laptop is an "Early 2013" version and Catalina works perfectly fine so far.

Ifs its old. It will send a code to your other apple device ths on the same icloud. You have to put that code after your password on your macbook to sign in. I had the same problem

I turned on my macbook pro 8.3 after a couple years, I got it to video edit with Final Cut Pro & didn't want to lose the program so I didn't upgrade OS. Now I decided to upgrade so that I can use it to calibrate my DJI Drone. Only problem, it didn't want to update from Sierra to High Sierra. I saw a youtube vid that said to get it to update, just set the Date & time to a month after the update came out. It worked, but when further updating anything, like itunes or security updates, it gets stuck. I just shut it down a few times & it booted, but was sluggish, so I did the command at startup: fsk -fy and it helped, but after another update, same thing, stuck until I reboot a couple times, re enter command and works again. Do I need to download a Legacy patch?

When I try to login into appe store with my apple id, it says your password or id is incorrect. But they are correct. Anyone else?

I just got it, you should get a code sent to your phone type it after your password and it should work
I downloaded El Capten IOS via chrome and upgraded the IOS

Just go for Catalina Patcher instead of Ventura..its still a 64-bit rather than sacrificing for unsupported macos latest version in that..
