    Funny enough i watched a video the other day about landrover reliability and they said ask any Ausi(Australian?) if you go to the outback and you want to come back go in a toyota but dammm the landy done it and pulled a trailer... This is my go to video. Awesomeness

      Thx Ash. It's one of the reasons we went to the Defender from the RRS. Always felt we'd get there and back.

      If you want to go to the outback, go in a Landrover. If you want to come back, go in a Toyota, if you want o enjoy the entire trip, go in a Nissan Patrol.

    So many tipsy situations - I've seen drunk people walk straighter then the amount of rocking you guys did. Nicely done at keeping them shiny side up.

    Great video; it looked difficult enough can't believe you pulled a trailer!

    I know nothing about off roading but what's the biggest and most common thing that can go wrong mechanically on a 4x4 while bush bashing?

    • @Misadventure4WD
      @Misadventure4WD  5 лет назад +1

      There are a host of things - most common seem to be diffs, CV joints, drive shafts.

    Another great video. I showed your last one to a mate and he said he bumped into you up the Cape. He was driving a white isuzu 110 with a few other Landies too.

      I remember that crew. Was a real blast to see them up there. The site of a line of landys tackling the cape was a great moment for us.

    Land rover defender the king, how i wish you switched the camper lorry to the Mitsubishi,
    these guys claim they compete with the defender in all aspects.

    • @Misadventure4WD
      @Misadventure4WD  6 лет назад

    I notice you had your CB radio on the driver's side where have you mounted it? Have a defender 90 and wondering where to mount CB radio

    • @Misadventure4WD
      @Misadventure4WD  10 лет назад

      I mounted the head unit under the passenger seat in the battery compartment and ran the hand piece to a bracket on the rhs of the centre dash panel so it's easy to get to from the steering wheel. Have also aded an external speaker to make it easier to hear over the noise of the fender ;-)

    Another great video! Are either of these cars fitted with diff locks?

    • @Misadventure4WD
      @Misadventure4WD  10 лет назад +2

      The Triton had front and rear lockers in. The defender only had standard TC at the time but following that trip, have had a rear locker installed as back-up. We had an abs modulator die on the trip and lost TC. At least with the Harrop e-locker, there is very litte that can go wrong with it.

    OMG another great video, I'm wondering having done the old coach Road and knowing how tough it is, well it looked tough on video, would you do it again.

    • @Misadventure4WD
      @Misadventure4WD  10 лет назад

      I'd definitely do it again Dennis. Probably in the opposite direction though which is a little tougher in some sections.
