One of your most stunning videos! Features both rocks and mud ruts. I know it's silly, but I must admit I was glad to see Toyota fail where Disco sailed through smoothly :-) Big fan of yours!
It is a very old landcruiser to be fair and it often surprises us just where it will go with next to no mods. The new 200 series is a serious bit of kit.
There are a range of tracks around Sugarloaf and a few chicken tracks around most of the hard lines. I'd recommend going with a friend and trying a few different lines to see what your vehicle is capable of. Once you know it's limit's you'll have a better idea of what you should have a go at and what you should drive around.
This is more like Freemans gap than Sugarloaf. Where you came out is Palmers road if I'm not mistaken. That would be Awaba state forest. I once broke a rear uni joint on my old yellow 87 Hilux up there.
Call in to the Service Station at the top of the gap then head towards Sydney. Just as you leave the Service Station heading south, you'll see a dirt track just off the main road. Up there to the hill climb and then down the hill taking your first left down into the valley.
The 80 goes alright. That front bumper needs the bottom bit cut off. It really ruins dep angle. Especially in that black boghole. Thanks guys Great vid
I am in love with the Black RR Sport why the hell can't Americans have nice toys like this, all we get is the shitty Gas Trucks, no diesels. And let me tell you this, every time i have asked for one they tell me there just is not a market for diesel in the US. My response is BULLSHIT!
Look what i foun by accident, that you can tell your land rover fiends in Australia,,, there is a place in York England where they make 18 wheels for the Lr3, Lr4 and Range Rovers, 2012 to 2017 redy nfor off road their Web page is this one,,,,,,, Prospeed-group.co.uk,,,, Thank you very much for your Answeres.
It's the 2.7 diesel that they ran throughout the D3/RRS model from 2007 through to 2013. It's also basically the same engine that Ford pinched to run in the Ford territory.
It's all politics over there mate tied up with fuel companies and manufacturers who don't want to have to change and would rather you drive around in gas guzzling technology that is way past it's use by date.
I really like that black Range Rover! Finally one of those SUVs being used for what it's made to do! Great video as usual, keep up the good work.
yeah love to see it! in its natural habitat for sure haha

Thanks mate - always lots of carnage on these tracks. Can get a little hectic in some sections.
Misadventure 4WD No doubt about that. You seem to always get out of this intact :-) Great work guys. Both informative and a treat for one's eyes.
great video excellent skills in ponds
The Disco is definitely the best to watch and listen to of the bunch imo.

Surprised how well the Dynapro ATMs worked in mud. I've got a set of 33x12.5 on my Pajero NM. Only tried them in snow so far.
I've really enjoyed your vids guys. well done & thankyou.

Kev will love that comment. No chance of getting him into a D3 now ;-)

Thanks for tuning in - our greatest ambition is to inspire others to get out and have a go.

Great video, thanks!👍
Another excellent Vid....Cheers
Nice to watch good operators.
I picked up a Disco 1997 3.9 V8 for $550!! And I love it. (Sounds great, always turns heads.)
4:31 bless you !!
Wow, that Disco 2 is a beast! I know what I'm buying when my Range Rover Classic decides to pack it in lol
Do you have any videos where you describe the modifications you've done to your RR Sport?
beaudy. thanks mate
4:31 Bless you
@iENJOIskating209 It is stock mate. Just sounds awesome :-)
Check out some other footage of Sugarloaf with the 110 SVX featured ;-)
A lot of it is due to the emission requirements for domestic diesels. UK spec diesels do not meet U.S. requirements.
The 80 goes alright.
That front bumper needs the bottom bit cut off.
It really ruins dep angle.
Especially in that black boghole.
Thanks guys
Great vid
Any lift on the D2?
Looks exactly like my dads disco.
Love mine, unstoppable cars.
the track with all the bog holes white clay is called NOKIA has a few great holes in there guys lolgo the GQ
My old delica may not be as capable as some of these rigs. Are there easier tracks up there too?
No I dont David - bit that gives me a great idea for a new video ;-)
RRS doen't have the optional e-diff in the rear.
I think the petrol supercharged models might have the rear diff lock?
The Disco seems to set the pace, unfortunate for the toyota.
Landcruisers really do need a rear diff lock don't they. i thought the rrs would have done the rocks easier with traction control etc
That white Cruiser at 10:50 exactly how many tires do you go through with that thing?
Great vid lads but ouch on the disco 2. How often do you replace ball joints etc?
Repairs are a constant when you do this kind of thing week in and week out. It's an expensive hobby
Yeh but a great hobby. In the Uk there is constant pressure from people wanting to close down the green lanes to stop off roading. Sad really.
Is it RRS sdv6

I have a black 2008 RRS. What style or brand is your hitch that it sits up that high?
It's a mitch hitch made by mitchell brothers Sydney
Just needed the 110.
Awesome footage of the Rangerover sport. What winch was on it? Any modification needed to install it?
It's a specific warn winch designed for this model RRS and custom front mount available only through Land Rover
My RRS has this winch, looks like a modified front cross member was installed so no easy/cheap mod.
rovers don't have lockers?
Where'd you get the sump guard and winch fitted?
Sump guard was an aftermarket unit I ordered from LR. The winch kit is also special order LR unit that I got from the UK.
What exhaust is done to the red landy?
Where abouts on Sugar Loaf is this?
Awesome trip! Go check out our last trip, same holes just more water!
where can i buy the steel weels for my dicovery4 255/55/19 i need them smaller but can not find the rigth offset for the l4
Do you have the 3.0l or 2.7? From memory you'll need to modify the brakes on the 3.0 to run 18 inch rims.
I have the the 3.0 V6 gasoline automatic, this is the mexican version
In what way is the modifycation of the brakes?????

Landcruzer for support vehicle?? or was it 3 landy's support for the cruzer!! Hahaha, just kidding can't knock the toyo.
What engine has the Range rover sport??

One spare tyre each Hm.
