I had the same problem with my RR Sport with my battery in Camping. The problem was not the battery, by itself. Each time you open the door or trunk, you get atout 10 interior lights on for about 30 seconds. So, when you open -close the doors often during the day, at the end, it just drain the battery. Since then, each time I take something, I turn off the lights manually (middle button on the front ceiling).
I did that as well, I think the other issue was sleeping in the rover the key was always registering to turn the car on or for the interior proximity sensor. I wish I would have thought to just pull the fuse for the interior lights at the start.
@@jimmysando99 I ended up buying a jumper battery pack and planned to do a dual battery setup with a solar charger if needed. I do plan to do a dual battery in my discovery down the road though.
@@venturevalzone2799 I didn't experience this while camping. Mostly first hour or so car is unlocked, me inside with the key, then before I fall a sleep just lock it via remote and no issue throughout the night.
Thank you, the Range Rover is sold though. I purchased a 200tdi swapped discovery that I’m using for camping and such. I will be uploading a lot of content in regards to that in the coming future. Thanks for checking out the channel and the feed back!

@@venturevalzone2799 Every time a door is opened the infotainment, ECUs and BCM power on. I have an aux battery in mine for lights, charging etc.

I think you can disable all ambient lights and even welcome lights by holding middle light button for 10sec.

Very cool! What a trip. Excited to see your fixes and fun.
Thank you aunt Kim! I started another channel called disco isn’t dead for the new rover I got for all the fixing.
@@venturevalzone2799 haha! Thats a funny title!
Sorry about the troubles. Looks like a beautiful area to travel and camp, though. Ask your Aunt Kimmi about a trip to Canada almost 18 years ago ...

😂🤣 Thats a good take away.
Bring a portable jumper next time. What year and model is that?
I have one now, ordered it while I was waiting for the jump lol. 2011 sport supercharged
You brought the whole house for 2 person?
Y’all brought 3 dogs.
Heck yeah, wouldn’t camp without them!
Rooftop tent fixes this. And dual batteries!
I don’t actually have this rover anymore. I’ve got a disco 1 with a rtt now
