Thank you for the compliment on the set up. It’s works quite well but a sprinter van has everything you need, it might be a challenge going to a 4x4. I guess though it depends on if it’s for trips or full time van life. Also my set up is great in good weather but I wouldn’t want to be out on an extended trip in wind or rain for example.
Very impressed with your second battery installation. I have a similar set up, although yours is much more elaborate with the extra power sockets module. Very neat.
Nice video . I got a 2012 l320 about a year now with 42k on it its in emulate condition service proper by my self delete the egr I put some alterane tires on it and I am just loving it .
Thank you, appreciate you taking the time to comment. A 2012 L320 is a nice vehicle, low mileage also. It will serve you well as your looking after it, that’s the key to these vehicles. Keeping on top of them and look after them and they will keep going.
Highly recommend Delica. Little small but just an all-around great little 4x4. I love the L322. I hope to get a tdv8 to travel around Australia, but reliability is a concern. Even clarkson says he never drives much more than 10 miles from home in his l322. Anyway, great little video, mate 👍
Thanks mate. I love the L322 also, such a good all round vehicle. I’m currently using a 2016 Subaru Outback while the L322 has a well deserved rest and some TLC😉 I hear those Delicias are pretty good little overlanders. In all honesty my L322 has been pretty reliable, never let me down in all the yrs of ownership but I don’t expect that to continue being almost 20 yrs old with 150,000 miles so I’m now deciding what to do with it, like Clarksons says, it’s like an old dog that’s part of the family and can’t let it go 😀
@@dublenki_toscana_enterfino Oh really I didn’t know he had bought one of them. Such a lovely vehicle that, be interesting to see how it holds up on Clarksons farm 😉
For the age and mileage of the vehicle I would say yes it’s been reliable, had very little problems with it in 8 years of ownership. Currently I’m having issues trying to find out what’s causing the 3 amigos but that’s all. I personally don’t spend much each year as I do any small jobs myself and have some spares lying around but like I say very little has gone wrong with it. I did spend some money when I bought it and fixed every issue it had and even did some preventative maintenance which really paid off.
It's an 096 battery. I believe the dimensions are as follows Length 278mm, Width 175mm, Height 190mm. The height is most important as 190mm is the max height that will fit.
Great video, love the roof tent, look forward to more videos 👍🏻
Thanks Brad, appreciate it. I’m definitely planning some adventures in the very near future…..stay tuned 👍
looks good that L322
Thanks
I am thinking about downgrading from a Sprinter Van You have a very nice setup.

I have RR l322 2007 3.6 tdi with 262 000 miles and still goint strong
@@HossBoss Wow, that sure is testament to how these L322s are more reliable than people give them credit for 👍

has your L322 been reliable? how much do you spend per year on maintenance?

Where did you get the roof rack and how much $$
Hi, it’s not an actual roof rack but it’s a pair of roof rails, the raised type and a set of Thule roof bars going across, the wingbar evo ones.
Hi great video, I have a 4.4 v8 BMW too,
Where did you change everything to do an upgrade to 2010??
Thank you, I did the job myself around 7 years ago. Worth doing as it vastly improves the looks IMHO 👍
For sure!! Where did you buy the pieces ??
Or if you can recommend me a place to buy them will be great, thank you so much
