I straightened my curls everyday for 3 yrs and now a few years later I love my curls way more than when they’re straight. It damages the natural beautiful hair we have!!
my friend used have 3b/3c curly hair but for years and years she straightened her hair so now she has 2b maybe 2c curls and she’s trying get back those curls. to me curly hair is so hot and also at the same time cute. please love your curls😍
Im 22 years old and all my life I’ve been with products or heat to my hair to make it straight and I’m transitioning to curls (my hair hasn’t been curly since I was like 5) I’m taking every single bit of advice to make my hair curly again and it’s working, I have never seen it so define and it’s gorgeous!!! I love you girl your beautiful and keep up with the good content because your helping girls like me who don’t know nothing about curly hair and what it takes
Thank you for the advice!! I personally don't own a diffuser and never know how to properly air dry and get rid of frizz. Definitely going to try and check out the Bondi Boost styling cream! BTW your curls look gorgeous!!
that is pretty much my process! I can't stand diffusing, so I will wait 4 hours to dry too, my hair is about as thick and long as yours now and I have a similar texture, and I scrunc out the crunch when it's 100% dry only :) your curls are beautiful!!!!
I just tried this today and this is the best my hair has ever looked! I did have to go outside while air drying, however. I am in Texas so it is very humid. My hair looked like a weave! I didn’t know my hair could look so good, thanks 😊
I loved that showed the progress, hour to hour, in that way don't stay questions and empty spaces. I rather air dry because for curls is healthier than diffusing. 💞Thanks Jayme
This video is so reassuring. I’ve been doing research on transitioning tips and this confirmed that I won’t need to splurge 70 bucks on a diffuser. Thank you 🥺
Diffusers really aren’t that expensive at all. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on a blow dryer/diffuser and unfortunately that’s what a lot of people believe. Diffusing is a pain in the ass for me and messes my curls up no matter what method I used so I appreciate this video! I prefer air dry and honestly the best curls I get is when I let my hair air dry as I sleep.
i just did this tip rn because i always use a diffuser and THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! it looks way better than diffused curls! I never believed my hair could look so good being air dried but wow!
Thank you so much Jayme! I do prefer to air dry because I find that the diffuser tampers with my curl pattern. I will definitely try these tips for my next wash day!
I always thought i need a diffuser and it's actually too expensive for me to buy nd i always complained abt my curls not, having a lot of volume nd they're fuzzy, but from now on I'll keep following ur steps 'till I'll be able to afford a good diffuser U doing such a great job thank you so so much I still wish i can win your giveaway tho ❤❤
Omg I've watched this video over and over..this is my most favorite video on RUclips ❤ these tips has helped me so much thank you..keep up the good work ❤
Love this process. Will try next wash. Love the way you went from flat to super volume in 4 hours....ok the latter was a joke but it’s a great way to do your hair if you’ll be home for the day! Can’t wait to try! Do you use any organic products on your hair!
XOXO Y I am Lebanese and all I have is curly hair but it is not nearly as beautiful as hers is. I must be doing something wrong cause my curls always go flat lol. I was just surprised because i did not know she is as well😂
Iv'e been subscribed for a while now and your video for a formal hair style from about a week ago really helped me at my winter formal yesterday :) I won "best hair awards" thanks to your videoooo. luv youuuuuuu
If this doesn’t work for somebody, you can get a hair clip, get the front hairs part And clip them at the top with the hair standing up straight and keep it like that for however long u want ( dry or wet, i let my hair air dry) Tip: I make sure the clip isnt pulling on my hair, i get a big clip so it holds my hairs up without pulling my roots
i first started using the curly girl method with curly penny (now penny tovar) and now that i have all the basic information , im on to you! can we PLEASE get a collab🥺🥺🥺💘!
Air drying is a lot easier for me to style - no heat is a bonus. Curls look more shinier and natural, plus curly hair naturally gets bigger as the day goes on. There aren’t too many videos of women styling without a diffuser nowadays. It isn’t really necessary.
You're so beautiful thanks for making this video I have a diffuser but I really don't have the time to use it since I'm a mom of two! New subbie alert! & Your curls are popping!!
I think I figured out what’s been wrong!! my hair probably isn’t moisturized enough!! I’m gonna try to use more conditioner and use a cream before mousse next time I wash my hair (wish I had looked this video up before I just styled it).
I suggest to mix baking soda with warm water and soak your hair with it before washing, also if you have long hair it needs to be cut in layers and DONT CONDITION THE SCALP !!! In the same time don't use products in the scalp , i hope that would help :)))) and good luck with that !
Hey Jayme - just wondering whether you have any advice on how to deal with frizz and humidity? I live on the west coast of Canada where it rains constantly and am curious on how you deal with this? I absolutely love all of your videos - you're giving me the confidence to wear my hair bigger like everyone is always telling me to! Thank you
Thank you for the inspiration for beautiful curly hair. I have one question: why do you put your hair in a towel after shower just for then spraying water? Thank you 🙏
Thanks so much for this video! I travel a lot and don’t always have luggage space for my favorite dryer and diffuser. But, I also love thay lipstick you’re wearing! What is it? It’s such a gorgeous red!
I have very curly hair and it always gets really frizzy and dry after going on a night out / going somewhere humid - do you have any tips on how to make sure your curls last throughout humid / sweaty places??
Great video! thank you very much 🤗 but I've got much more problems with defusing.. I didn't found a video about it on you channel 🤔 do you have one? or would you maybe take one 😇🤗
I always air dry bc diffusing doesn’t work for me or idk how to do it. Ur hair looks amazing. The site for the cream ur using I can’t find the curl boss on there?
You made me realise how hot curly hair is and made me rethink about me straightening it every day
I'm trying to learn how take care of and embrace my hair, our curls are frustrating but beautiful !!😊

MEEEE THIS IS WHY IM HERE 😭😭😭 plus I have naturally curly hair and I wanna see what it looks like when it’s curly
Well she made me rethink it but I didn’t stop it if that makes you feel any better 😂😭
When she said don’t sleep on it or mess with it I went “ aww crap”
I can relate *A LOT* 😐

Deep condition once a week and get a trim every 3 months or so.

Ugh I still don't get half of the volume you have. Especially the top of my head. It's always so flat and looks oily when it's not

one minute and four seconds but what if u don’t wanna cut ur hair in layers cos I’m trying to grow my hair
Try dry shampoo & tease with your fingers or a pick at the root, I have super long hair that gets weighed down and the dry shampoo makes it HUGE
@@oneminuteandfourseconds9662 I've never heard of that baking soda trick. What does it do?
I use a microfiber towel to scrunch my hair and get rid of the hard cast.

red & black are awesome on you
Can you make a video on how to maintain moisture in curly hair? Tips that could help get rid of frizz.
Have a whole video on getting rid of frizz x
Don’t know why but my hair gets really stiff and crunchy when I put oil or a product that has oil.
yes! that’s the point! ur supposed to scrunch out the crunch!
Love this video jayme 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

I always air dry my hair. Great tips 🌹
So I have to know lol. What bra do you use? It looks like it gives you great support yet its strapless?
Thank you for this because I never had time to diffuse my hair and it always looks frizzzy
My hair always goes fuzzy, how do you know when your hair has finished transitioning from being straight to curly?
I think you should try defining your curls by twirling them with your finger first then letting them air dry it seems to work for me better
Thank you 😊
Do you think the BB mousse would pair well with the shea moisture curl enhancer?
Tess the smoothie from Shea moisture? It should but since the Shea moisture product is so thick use as little as possible c
Jayme Jo thankyou so much for replying! I love all your vids your hair is the queen of volume and health😘
i feel like my hair is too damaged for it to dry less frizzy 😂😭

I always air dry bc diffusing doesn’t work for me or idk how to do it. Ur hair looks amazing. The site for the cream ur using I can’t find the curl boss on there?
Question, is there something you can use instead of the styling cream?
