There have been many example through the series where they explained that Gene has a natural music talent and has no skill in classical music training ,but has been slowly learning during the show run
Yeah, but you'd think of everyone in class, he'd be the one taking it seriously. This is after a whole semester, and he hasn't at least tried to learn how to read music? Idk, I don't buy it XD
@@TheSandbox_Official nah gene wouldn't know how to sight read. the vast majority of musicians can't, especially self taught musicians like gene. he might be taking it more seriously now in school but it still wouldn't be enough. i went to music college and the only people who could sight read were the ones who had very regular/intensive piano lessons as kids
@@simonjenkin this isn’t sight reading, this is reading music he’s had all semester. But yeah, sight reading is tough. I played piano from 3rd grade through high school and I could never get it down myself 😅
I’m 63 and every time I see Tina come in and wave “Hi” to Louise I’m in tears. It would’ve been nice for Louise to read her poem to Bob, as Linda mends his bloody knees. But other than that IMHO, this is the greatest episode EVER!!!
I think Louise reading it once was enough for her. Linda and Bob proudly reading it together as she mends his knee hits a bit harder imo, but I don’t think you’re wrong either! Fantastic storytelling all around!
So never saw a single episode of Bob's Burger, don't even know much about it, is it worth watching? Would love to give it a try but I just don't know if it's for me.
It definitely has a very specific style of storytelling, humor, & heart, but it's entirely relatable to the human condition, in my humble opinion. They also switch it up; the show rarely ever feels stale. I'd say season 6 is probably the best if you wanted to dip your toe, or test out their holiday episodes (Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Christmas as those are usually the best ones). But here's a list of some of the best episodes to get you hooked: Season 1, Episode 13: Torpedo Season 2, Episode 2: Bod Day Afternoon Season 2, Episode 9: Beefsquatch Season 3, Episode 1: Ear-sy Rider Season 3, Episode 2: Full Bars (I also put out a video essay on this one; love it so much!) Season 3, Episode 9: Bob Rest Ye Merry Gentle-Mannequins Season 4, Episode 5: Turkey in a Can Season 4, Episode 9: Slumber Party Season 5, Episode 5: Best Burger Season 5, Episode 17: Itty Bitty Ditty Committee Season 6, Episode 3: The Hauntening (The BEST Halloween Episode!) Season 6, Episode 5: Nice-Capades Season 6, Episode 7: The Gene & Courtney Show (Top 3 episode for me!) Season 6, Episode 19: Glued, Where's My Bob? (best season finale ever!) Season 9, Episode 2: The Taking of Funtime One Two Three Hope you give it a shot! Let us know how it goes!
They make the same horrible mistake as the Simpsons: TOO MANY Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas episodes yet no one ever ages. It annoys me to no end!! I know they make episodes year after year, but in the long run they all get watched over a couple nights or weeks. You don't need holiday episodes every season.
Yeah I was sad at first that they didn’t give us a new Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Xmas episode this year, but figured we have enough as is already. That said, I’ll never turn down another GOOD festive episode 😅
i teared up in this episode. as someone with a big family as well, i know and understand the family struggle on who's to attend who. this episode is so heartwarming and really reflects the Christmas/Holiday spirit. 🥹♥️🎄☃️🌟🦌💕
What were your impressions after watching “The Plight Before Christmas”? Do you agree that it’s the best Christmas episode from the show?
The fact that this did not when the Emmy breaks my heart. It is in my mind the most perfect 22 min of xmas viewing I have ever seen.
I totally agree! I haven't seen the latest Simpsons Treehouse of Horror, but I doubt it came close to this one!
Great video! Easily the best episode from Bob’s Burgers! Was tearing up on my first watch!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! And yeah, I was basically sobbing last year when I first watched it!

This episode makes me ugly EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch it. Even while watching this I'm sobbing
It's so good! I've been hoarding the new season for a future binge. Hoping there's another one like this somewhere in it!
Truly a work of art...or maybe a work of heart...
Both....both is good

I gave you your first thumbs down because of the _Die Hard_ bullshit, but I love everything else
🤣🤣🤣 honestly...fair

Absolutely! I had a small family growing up but married into a HUGE family, so I’m still learning the ropes 😅 but BB helps me in that way haha
