Nice! I am atempting to be a hubrid athlete. I am training weightlifting and running marathons and ultra marathons. There are a lot of hybrid guys but they do powerlifting or bodybuilding so it’s nice to see You combining WL with any kind of cardio😂

I like this idea of pairing weightlifting with running, but whenever I experimented with that (even with way lower frequency & distance runs) I started feeling quite the opposite, surely my heart and lungs were working a little bit better, but my whole body just started dissolving and inflammation was unmanageable. so I'm gonna sit this one out, but if you can take it, sure, go for it, I can see how the benefits are quite the deal, if in some case you don't have that immense fragility when it comes to endurance stuff like I do, give it a shot!
Run around Barton in the early AM...Jump into the pool for free to cool down. The best.

I have been thinking that I should start running so I guess I really have to do it now
This video has seriously made me consider running
I've played tennis all my life, at a level high enough where it would impede my strength gains, especially squats. Granted the strength training was for tennis, but even now where i've transitioned mostly into oly lifting and just play tennis for fun (NYC based, finding courts is brutal). Sometimes, if i play more than twice a week I plateau, it'll be interesting to see your progress.
I think in the present world Hybrid Training is the way forward put yourself in shape and ready for anything. You can be fit and Strong now you no longer have to pick between the two.

I’ve come across some articles saying that lifting is better to do first because of how cardio exercises deplete your glycogen and energy more. I’m paraphrasing hard lol

Great to see you on this programme,I've been doing your weightlifting one for the past year now and love it,nice and simple and doesn't take too much time,I mix it in with CrossFit and functional bodybuilding and have never felt better,and I'm now 43 and trained all my life,sure my lifts don't go up much due to other training mixed in,but the movements keep me strong and mobile.loving your vlogs also👌💪👍👏
