If i wanted to use a different type of shader, say a PBR shader, what should i do to replace it with the phong? I tried just removing the phong but the animation is lost upon doing that...
I don't have an animated FBX so I can't test it but here is something to try: I think PBR needs an Environment Light so make one of those first from the COMP menu. Give it an environment map with a movie in TOP Then create a new PBR MAT. Then drag and drop the PBR shader you want to use. It will come in as a TOP. Drag that to the substance map of your PBR MAT. Then drag that MAT onto your FBX Geo (the outer most container). That's how you put a PBR on an FBX but not sure what it will do to the animation.

You need to setup the params in the Deform tab of the material to link to the armature bone group.
could this work with the kinect v2 Chop
idk why my fbx are not moving i do exact same thing but i only get a geo and two chop parameters who appear moving but the obj doesnt do anything
Have you pushed play in the bottom?
