To me, Bon felt like AC/DC itself, and I wonder what would happen if Bon were to still be on his feet, literally. And I wish he was still alive, because, after BIB, they didn't have much. Sure, there was Thunderstruck, but that was all after Back in Black
Thank you Brother and I miss you RIP Paul Benally, U introduced me to ACDC and I was hooked and still am. Thank you Angus, Cliff, And the late Malcolm, Phil band and lmy love Bon Scott!!
Don't forget Mark Evans... playing on those great early songs ! I miss my brother too...he didn't turn me on to AC-DC...it was the other way around...😊
this fantastic ac/dc album is the proof that Bon Scott will ever be one of the greatest voices in all Rock history ... and Angus is simply the little big man just close to all guitar heroes . R.I.P Bon
Hi. Bon Scott ain't a great voice. There are at least 100 singer better than him in the history of rnr. It's the band that rocks it, him included. Bon had attitude, had his own great style but vocally speaking he was average. It's ACDC with bon Scott that is aewsome but he is not one of the greatest voices of rnr.
It's the only EP they've made. "Jailbreak" was released in 1976 on the Australian version of the "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" album (there wasn't an international release of Dirty Deeds until 1981 and it had a different track listing). The other four songs were on the Australian version of "High Voltage", released in 1975. The international release of "High Voltage" in 1976 is more-or-less a selection of tracks from their first two albums, the Australia-only "High Voltage" I mentioned as well as "T.N.T.", also an Australia-only release from 1975. I highly recommend listening to those three Aussie releases!
Arguably the best band when it comes down to the real deal Lucille, maximum rock and roll band... that is there for the fans and the fun. At least while Bon was front man. He didnt just talk the talk, he walked the walk. And went out like a guy who's gonna ride until the wheels fall off. You ain't hardcore unless you live hardcore. I have always rolled like that, I'm lucky to be alive. Almost died several times. Wouldn't change a thing. RIP Bon. See you when I get home.
The Legend has begun with this demo record. It's incredible unknown AC/DC before High Voltage was released had already played yet such a cool rock'n'roll as this.
This is where it all started. It was the hardest back then . Since then so many bands good bands but still I find myself coming back to the simple AC/DC. That’s because they are what influenced all the bands after them. Why listen to a cover band when you can listen to the real shit. You have to come back to your roots once in a while. Judas Priest was second band to them that was hard back then. Sabbath. Nothing like now. But you got to love this shit still and forever. That’s why they have one of the best selling rock albums ever and a tribute to bon Scott in back in black.
0ooh my God.. AC⚡️DC ROCKS THE HOUSE!! Bon Scott kicked ass , they should call Angus Young "Sir Angus Young" In my opinion I couldn't go 1 day w/out listening to them (its GODDA BE LOUD)... (I'm 49)..lol But rock on AC⚡️DC 🎶🤟😎🎶
Bro this isn't an album. It's god jailbreak the song from the Australian dirty deeds and the rest are from the Australian high voltage from 1974. They weren't released overseas until 1984
Australia had/has a lot of great hard rock bands similar to AC/DC from this era - The Angels, Finch, Contraband, Rose Tattoo, Buster Brown to name a few
The lineup wasn't stable by then. On track 1: Bass guitar, Mark Evans; drums & percussion, Phil Rudd. On tracks 2, 3 and 4: Bass guitar, Rob Bailey; drums & percussion, Tony Currenti. Track 5: Bass guitar, Rob Bailey (some sources say George Young); drums & percussion, Peter Clack. On all tracks, Bon Scott, Angus & Malcolm Young.
This EP's songs weren't all recorded at the same time. The first track, Jailbreak, was recorded and originally released in 1976. The other 4 tracks were recorded in 1974, but was released in 1975. So, that's why the lineup is not the same for all the songs.
I love to listen to albums at home. I wate for the night time to go to concerts, clubs, ballrooms, jukebox bars in St. Louis and L llinois. I don't go home I like to run around.
Bon Scott made an effort to run from his Roman Catholic family and shoot for the stars. He was one of the first to put a camera on him while he would ride his motorbike through the bush and drank everyday without it ever effecting his mental, physical and professional life until he died of alcohol poisoning passed out in a car that people knew he was in but thought he just needed to sleep it off. Some say it was hypothermia but it probably was the combination that killed him. I call that the real jailbreak.

Jailbreak is one of their best tunes and it never gets played on the radio. Real shame.
I hear it played on the radio every now and then. Especially on classic rock stations
89 procent of the entire earth doesn’t know acdc. To many empty tik tok braindeads
Yeah...I remember it being played on the radio in the '90's...that's how I came to find out and buy this EP...!
I know right?
The gold nugget comment here, = "I know right?"
Bon Scott - lead vocals
Angus Young - lead guitar (tracks 1 and 5), rhythm guitar
Malcolm Young - rhythm guitar, lead guitar (tracks 2, 3 and 4),[3] backing vocals
George Young - production, backing vocals, drums[4]
Rob Bailey - bass guitar on all but Jailbreak
Mark Evans - bass guitar on "Jailbreak"[5]
Phil Rudd - drums & percussion on "Jailbreak"
Tony Currenti - drums & percussion on tracks 2-4[6]
Peter Clack - drums & percussion on "Baby, Please Don't Go"[6]
