Been looking up words like agonize, agonizing, plead etc in EGWs writings. She talks about how we must be on our knees agonizing and pleading with God concerning our character. If Ellen White makes that much ado about this, it must mean something! Happy Sabbath! Maranatha.

*COMING THIS FRIDAY TO A CHURCH NEAR YOU!!*
This Friday is *the day of Preparation, for the weekly Sabbath and we and the entire world will be remined at length as we read the scriptures, that *the Sabbath keepers, rejected, betrayed, mocked, scourged and Crucified Christ, the Lord of the Sabbath.* Then on the Sabbath day, his body laid dead in the tomb waiting for the *3rd day when Christ would be raised and shown to be both Lord and God.*
*This Sunday Adventists and their like will find themselves too holy to celebrate the resurrection of Christ* when the disciples all gathered together and *rejoiced and WORSHIPED Christ as Christ commanded them on the day of his resurrection.* There won't be any praise to God for Christ's salvation, *dead silence, empty churches and holier than thou,* will be fully set in their hearts just like the Pharisees
. The same will be true for PENTECOST SUNDAY. They will be all smug, at home and alone,

just can't imagine how my church has become, practicing all these abominable behaviours. Our leaders are the problem, yes, congregants may have their individual doctrines, but the church's doctrine should be maintain by the hierarchy,,, what was established by God and the pioneers,,, God did approve of the methodology that was used to established the remnant Church.

God wants all. As Jesus told the rich younger ruler, "Sell all...and give to the poor." But all belongs to Him anyway, so He's only asking for what is His.

*A lesson From Mt. **19:17* The rich young ruler. The rich young ruler was a Sabbath keeper who claimed he kept the commandments of God. He just like Sabbath keepers of today, *he even told Jesus himself, he "kept the commandments" , only to find, he loved others more than God and Christ, and refused to follow him!* It's easy for the Sabbath keeper to be like the ruler, overlooking the fact he was just as many of the sabbath keepers are, completely unable to see how blind they are to their own SIN* while telling, the world and themselves they "keep all the commandments of God" And even so much that they bragged to Christ himself and told Christ , how holy he was. Proving, thus:, *he didn't even keep the 1st commandment, much less the others* Yet, he was going to hell for his blind self-righteousness
The Sabbath keepers deceive themselves. They too love their group more than Christ.
They are full of false testimony against Christianity #9 of the commandments.. If a man says he has no sin, he is a liar and the truth is not in him. The Sabbath keepers deceive themselves. They too love their group more than Christ. They are full of false testimony against Christianity #9 of the commandments. Neither will they ever be credited with keeping the 10 commandments, no matter how many times they tell God and themselves they do!

Wow, this statement about outward appearances really humbles me. By way of confession, I do judge people by how they dress in the church. The problem is not with cheap clothing, it's how they are worn. While it is true to not ridicule people because of their outward appearances, we can still caution people to dress modestly as they present themselves to the Lord or come to His church. While we need to be more understanding and forgiving toward people who just come out of the world to the church, on the other hand, those who've been in the church and know the guidelines on modesty, should not wear provocative clothing, like some of our young women who do not want to separate themselves from the world sometimes. In fact, I do have issues with people who are flashing their expenses garments to show people their social statuses, on the other hand, whether you buy your clothes from a thrift store, they need to be worn modestly in the temple of the Lord.

@@chucksmith4624 My brother, there are several areas where your postulations are not in harmony with scripture. First of all, it wasn't only the Sabbath keeping Jews that had Jesus killed. There were plenty of non-Jews there who also clamored for his death. None of these participants scourged or crucified Jesus. It was the Roman soldiers and Pontius Pilate who did all the dirty work, and they were not Jews. Those involved represented elements of both the secular and religious world.
Secondly, Jesus NEVER commanded the disciples, nor anyone, to worship Him on Sunday. During their Last Supper together, He gave them many instructions pertaining to His forthcoming betrayal, death and resurrection but never once told them that they were to worship Him on the day of the resurrection, nor thereafter on the first day of the week. Similarly, after His resurrection and during the walk to Emmaus with 2 of His disciples, He taught and reminded them of what the scriptures said of the Messiah. He never once told them to worship Him on the first day of the week.
Thirdly, during the 40 days after His resurrection, He spent time with the disciples giving them their final instructions. Again, He never once told them the day of worship was changed from the 7th-day Sabbath to the first day of the week. At the time of His ascension, He NEVER once told the disciples to worship Him on Sunday. His final words to them were, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU: Matthew 28:19, 20
There is not one verse in all of holy writ that indicates He set the first day of the week aside and hallowed it for worship. To the contrary. The day that was sanctified (made holy), and set aside for holy worship back in Genesis, was assigned to the 7th-day. It was made holy by a holy God. It was set aside by the Creator with specific instructions on how to keep it holy. God, the Monarch of the universe, created time and within it set up this special day that commemorates Him. No human being has the right to change it. There isn't a human being holy enough to have that right. The day is so holy that even Jesus kept it. "And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, AS HIS CUSTOM WAS, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read." Luke 4:16
The day is eternally holy for in the New Jerusalem it will be kept, "And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." Isa. 66:23 From this verse one can see that there will be a manner of time keeping which involves the marking of cyclical new moons or cyclical sabbaths (one sabbath to another). So, in light of this verse, we must ask ourselves the following: "If the sabbath will be kept in heaven, and all flesh will come to worship before Him on the sabbath, why would Jesus change the day on earth prior to this fulfillment of scripture in heaven? Furthermore, we have to ask ourselves, "Why was He silent on this change?" Answer: He was silent because He did not change it, nor did He command it to be changed.
Finally, Christ never once changed the commandment of God regarding the 7th-day Sabbath. Had He done that, as God, the Son, He would be countermanding His own word which would then nullify all of scripture for Malachi 3:6 reads, "For I [am] the LORD, I change not;". Note, it says LORD, not Lord. There is a difference.
He also said, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void," Isa. 55:11
As to Pentecost: There is no commandment to commemorate that event, least of all, as a day of worship.

Stop Focusing on the World, We are the World, BUT God Choose a Remnant out of the Many that are called, and he Said to the Remnant, If my People Who are Called by my Name, Humble Themselves and Pray and Seek My Face, Turn away from their WICKED Ways, then they will hear from Heaven, I will forgive their Sins, and I Will heal their Land..
JUDGEMENT BEGINS IN THE HOUSE OF GOD..
SO PLEASE FOCUS ON THE HOUSE OF GOD, NOT THE WORLD.
IF GOD:S PEOPLE DON'T OBEY HIM, HE WILL DESTROY THEM WITH THE WICKED.

      JOHN
15: 17 *These things I COMMAND you* !!!!, *that ye love one another* .
18 If the world (Christ is speaking OF the Sabbath keepers) hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world (the hateful Sabbath keepers) , the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, *therefore the world ( of the Sabbath keepers) hateth you.*
20 *Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they (the Sabbath keepers) have PERSECUTED me, they (the Sabbath keepers) will also PERSECUTE you* ; *if they have kept my saying, *THEY WILL KEEP YOURS ALSO* .
21 But all these things will they (the Sabbath keepers) do unto you for my name's sake, because they *(the Sabbath keepers)* know NOT him that sent me.:
22 If I had not come and spoken unto them (the Sabbath keepers), they had not had sin: but now they (the Sabbath keepers) have no cloak for their sin.
23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they (THE SABBATH KEEPERS) both seen and HATED both me and my Father.25 *But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written IN THEIR LAW* , *They (the Sabbath keepers) *hated me without a cause* .
