This is 1 of my favourite Bible stories. It's important that we have a relationship with God and listen when He gives instructions. We can always go to Him and seek guidance, He will not turn us away if we go to Him with a humble teachable heart. This presentation made me cried and reached out to God because I need to listen Him more carefully. Love and prayers.

ONE of the best ways to HEAR HIS VOICE is to go out, into the world, and look for opportunities in everything you do; while dealing among His people that He created. Smile everywhere, be kind, show compassion, yield the right of way, let others go first, give more, stand up more, speak the truth unwaivering. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven. One of the simplest passages in the Bible; yet, it contains everything that God wants for each of us. Maranatha! :)
Last year when my mother died oh, I was very forlorn. My boss at work told me not to stay home not to go to bed and go back to work. It was the best thing for me. He's not a Christian
This lesson also makes me think about Ezekiel 33: 8-20. God spoke to Ezekiel a number of times in this matter. Some other stories that come to mind are the man of God who foretold Josiah's birth also, I think of King Hezekiah and how he show the emissaries everything he had and the prophet told him that Calamity would jump on his Nation but not in his lifetime
This is what's really happening in the SDA churches. Often times people put too much trust in pastors who are PhD degree holders and theologians who they think can provide them always with correct understanding of the word of God,instead of listening to what the word of God says, and the words and teachings of Jesus. That's why there's lot of confusion and apostasy in the churches now,because people tend to believe and follow what men say,instead of what God said. 1Cor.2:5 says, That your faith should not stand on the wisdom of men, but by the POWER of God.
So powerful Listening is indeed good But listening carefully ultimate. As Seventh Day Adventist we get trapped. Thanks for helping us to be more open minded

This is potent. I was just studying the confusion in the story of Namaan the other day. The young maid spoke clearly, but the message of her trumpet, got mixed up, to a point that when it reached the king, who probably had no communication or didn't know or chose to ignore the existence of Elisha and his work of healing, he took it upon himself to shame hisself by renting his own clothes because the msg reads as though it was directed to him, but even then, with him being a king, he should have known about Elisha, he should have been in communication with him to listen to Gods instructions via Elisha. It seemed everybody heard or listened but a few were listening carefully.

Thank you for this encouraging word. I do have a question about credentials. You mentioned that you were denied an assignment in California because you did not have certain credentials. My question is, should we not get the credentials that we need that certain employment requires of us?
Seventh-day Adventists who are baptized believers in Adventist doctrine (28 Beliefs) are not Christian. Adventism teaches doctrines which are cursed in the bible. For example, the Adventist gospel message of 3 Angels Messages is not found in the bible and according to Gal. 1:6-9 this gospel is cursed. A church which preaches a gospel which is cursed is not Christian. Adventism is not Christian and not part of the larger Protestant Christian community. Galatians 1:6-9: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
There is no disagreement with Scripture that you have referenced brother or sister, but the first section can only be agreed upon in the closing words, “not a part of the larger Protestant community”. Our hearts are to focused on the Word and will of the Lord, which is most certainly expressed in the obedience of His children to His will, in spirit and truth. Just a footnote, the “larger Protestant community” will soon only be Adventists and converts because the above community isn’t protesting anymore. Pray for me and I for you. Amen

Adventists teach unbiblical doctrine such as the blood of Christ on the cross does not cancel the sin of a sinner. At best we are brothers in the general manhood of Adam and not brothers in Christ. You did not read my initial comment. You stated no scripture was cited, do you not recognize Galatians as Scripture? Adventism teaches a false gospel message and is hence cursed by the bible for its false gospel message.
We need to make sure we give reasons for what we believe. Your post here simply labeled Adventists as non-Christians, defined the Three Angels’ Messages as a false gospel, then quoted a verse saying those who believe in a false gospel are accursed. But you haven’t actually interacted with an Adventist belief or explained why it was wrong. It would be like me saying Fords are by definition bad cars and we know nobody wants to drive bad cars, therefore nobody wants to drive a Ford. But that is not an argument, it’s just a conclusion drawn from a statement that is unproven. I believe that’s called begging the question.
