during the verse where strumming down is palm muted and strumming up is allowed to ring, does anyone have any advice on how to keep a steady pattern with alternating the palm muting other than just practice?
When I started I couldn't do it either but you can honestly play it open and people won't notice that it should be palm muted. The trick I guess is that when you down stroke make sure you're hand is on the strings and when you upstroke try to fluidly slide your hand over the top of the strings as the pick comes up them
just a quick question from a newbie, how do you guys mute the strings? with your picking hand or the other? because i heard someone said they mute it with their picking hand's pinky, was wondering if everyone does it that way... thank you

However am I legit only one that got confused on solo part which is hardest part I’m trying to learn? Great video but “do this” but 20 seconds later saying but you do this other part first and going quick through the solo versus 2 minutes on easy intro is killing me. Great tutorial but can anyone link me to Legit tutorial of solo because 2 minutes on intro and quick 45 second on solo isn’t ideal for me.

How many up and downs are there for the csus2. Part of the intro you said it pretty fast?
My Em up on 7 sounds nothing like yours. Tuned down to Eb too, can't figure it out.

Try resting the side of your picking hand against the strings at the bridge.The pinky can work as well.
