@LowLanding he says at the beginning its tuned down a half step but that hes going to teach it to you in standard tuning and if you'd like to change it yourself that's fine

I don't know how the requests work on here but you should definitely do a lesson on coming home by Dallas Green /city and colour! Your a great teacher btw stopped paying for lessons bc of your videos
great tutorial only thing I would recommend is also teaching the muting because there is a lot of that in this song. Basically for the verse everything except the upstrokes are muted. This was a hard concept for me to grasp for awhile but if you pay attention to the strumming he teaches the upstrokes are the only part not muted if you want this to sound perfect.
@omegabarret its not the same thing though. if you tune it to standard while you have the capo on the first fret then it will be a half step down. but putting a capo on the first fret would make it go UP a step
if you look at the another station another mile dvd they explain that that song isn"t specificaly targeted at american soldiers but is pointed at soldiers in general such as china and what not. I may be making a poor explanation of it but if you look up "swing life away another station another mile" on their vevo it'll show the section i'm talking about before the song starts.

How long will it take for a beginner to learn this song, who is playing for like 3 weeks? I am learning this song now, i know the intro, but its hard you know. I play like 1,5 hour a day.
Williame Salvador probably an other 3 weeks and this should be easy, you should definitely do guitar lessons because they help you better understand what you are playing

@BlazeandGrave Yes. If you don't don't tune down, your guitar will be a half-step above the recording, but if you tune down, these will be right.
@7escape Em is B string 2nd fret and E string 1st fret, while e5 is B string 3rd fret and A string 1st :)
