So sad that FOX had a better TV production in 2004 than they do today. Everything makes you excited for the race. The commentators, the graphics, the talking points...today it's pathetic.

I wish they had this in-depth analysis on todays broadcast. Would make it ten times better.

As awesome as it was to see Sadler win (I was an RYR fan), I felt bad for Kahne. His rookie year with just a bit more luck could have been like Tony Stewart in '99.

As a die hard Kasey Kahne fan, this one still stings. One of many that got away that year. Stupid Ward Burton lol.

Esta carrera fue radical por la victoria de Elliott Sadler pero F por Kasey Kahne que quería gana una carrera en su año de novato

It's funny to see NASCAR go that overboard penalizing for Jamie's little incident at Bristol. Today's NASCAR wouldn't even think about penalizing that for they are extremely thirsty for that kind of drama these days. Also, they only penalized Jr. 25 points? What a joke! Should have been at the very LEAST 50.

My god racing was better 17 years ago. Today’s doesn’t even compare. Back when you still had more than 3 engine builders. Now it’s all 18-25 year old punks I can’t relate to in the slightest. Back when a ford racing engine was based of a ford 351w svo block. Darell Waltrip and mike joy. My god what a crew. Now we’ve got these lame asses who couldn’t tell you a 4 speed from a tire iron. My god it felt great watching the roush Yates small block ford screamin off that rev limiter and knowing it was built in a time when Robert Yates was still alive to watch it happen and be there. Nothing like a Sunday afternoon at home doing yard work and listening to the nascar race and the smell of cut grass. Today’s racing is single file no action. Even the short tracks are getting boring so they’re resorting to gimmicks like the “roval” and the “Daytona infield road course” and they’re putting dirt in Bristol. It’s so damn lame I can’t stand it.
