Maybe we should be driving 2000' Monte Carlo's, Taurus's and those horrible looking Intrepids. Maybe we should go back to cautions for nothing like they did in the early 2000's. NASCAR throwing cautions for paper, or a piece of a tear off, bara bond, or a cigarette butt. Sure, let's put Brian France back in the drivers seat and run the show. Everything changes buddy. Those 'ghost cautions' or 'Le Cautioun' as The Herminator likes to call it, this is that. To bunch the field up, but it's intentional. Not just because. So yeah, let's go back the the early 2000's where there were great drivers but NASCAR was being run like a shit show....
No need for the stage break cautions. They can award points on the lap and let the teams have their own strategy. NASCAR wants all the commercial money and turning into WWE.
Kevin Harvick makes such a good point about having track position and controlling the race. However with the length and longevity of this race, cautions etc. Anything can happen. That’s what makes the 500 so exciting
How people watch that big wreck and say that was Chastain’s fault is beyond me. Bowman wasn’t even square on Byron and was shoving the hell out of him. Not Chastain’s fault
Yeah the stupid Hendrick cars wreck everybody else and then finish 1-2. Chastain was the only good driver on the track at the end there, everyone else botched it or got wrecked and Byron got lucky with the win.
We were running 3 wide for almost 20 laps in the closing stages and I was thinking, "Please nobody wreck." Sadly someone did but for a while it was really tense. One of the reasons I love Nascar oval racing. It's not over till it's over.

Dare I say he is this generations Darrell Waltrip of announcers? I miss DW, but now we have CB... And Harvick ain't no slouch either... Mike Joy is legendary. His voice just says NASCAR.
really like the full race replays. Im also glad in this case, that the BLOCKER Chastain ...karma got him! ... I wanted Logano (22) to win. Love the sound as the field passes the mic's too... no ads is a bonus. so yep, thanks NASCAR for putting on RUclips these races. I also love the IndyCar stuff too....

It’s 2024 and we’re still getting 720P, and what, 24, 30 FPS? I’d personally say 1440P 60 FPS, but for now, I’d settle for 1080P, at 60 FPS.
I could see someone reading a book while driving. I’m guessing they’re just chilling listening to music. I think that corvette they were chasing in la the other day was going faster lol.
I wish they would bring back repairs. The 77 looks like it could have been fixed in 10 minutes and sent back out. Just need the sheet metal bent back in shape
Loved it - couple thoughts: More engine noise - and cut to match the visuals (A telephoto tracking video shot with audio of cars passing a mic in a different track location is jarring) Some crowd noise would be great too More on car shots - love the immersive shots from inside the action (camera shots mounted on pit crew would be fun) The track location car tracking graphics didn't make it to the youtube videos - but would have been helpful 1080p resolution would be nice too
When I was at Daytona they hit 202/ 203 and was a lit faster. Whats a race?? Go as fast as possible!!! Not ruling it into slower speed. But good race guys!! I know 49.80 was frustrating!! Drivers meating boys!!!
