They have been taught from birth the ideals of the greater good, and it happens to be REALLY hard to corrupt those ideals into Chaos, so they are just good at avoiding it because of their upbringing.
I really wonder how much coordination michael and nick really had because it seemed a lot of it was just nick going mont'kawabunga and jumping right into the fray while the nekrons just annoyed the other team with how tanky they are.
Hey, hammer and anvil is a valid tactic lol-the T'au kept up the pressure in that middle choke point to keep the Thousand/Ultras pinned in their deployment while the Necrons tried, albeit unsuccessfully, to flank and shank. Seemed tactically sound to me.
Could happen. Mind shackle scarab in Tau ethereal. Orders Tau to work with necrons for the greater good. Necrons then use Tau as meat shields. Or to distract foes from the real objective. Is Trazan the Infinite behind this?

As someone who regularly plays 2v2, it's nice to see this format get some time on your channel. There's just something that's even more fun about mashing together 4 armies and seeing how it all works out together. Well done!
I love the format more as well, just a lot more craziness that can happen and the satisfaction of doing a nice combo with your buddy without realizing it (and luck through dice) is something you just can't get when doing a 1v1. That and I like when you love playing a melee army and your pal likes being ranged!

Hearing Mubin play Thousand Sons at 1000 points hearts my dusty heart. I know being newer to the army has a learning curve and being limited in unit selection doesn't help, but the fact that he goes spell heavy when spells are not scaled for a 1k game... I hope that Mubin has a pivot in the list before the convention as Tsons are an army I want to see do great for you guys.
I actually find that running TSons Cabal heavy is perfectly fine at 1000 pts, mainly because costs are so insane, but what hurt my dusty heart was not doombolting and/or Twist of Fating the Hammerhead/Y'vahra, cause that would have potentially saved Ahriman. They're just such a read-y army, and have one of the hardest learning curves in the game, if you don't know your Cabal sorceries or strategems like the back of your hand it really hurts you. If I had made the list I would've put a Daemon Princs without Wings in place of something to get that stealth and 2 Cabal Points.
I actually could see this happen. Maybe a Pharaoh who loves to have as much richness as possible, doesn't give a flying f*ck about who hires his/her services and sends his brainless armies to fight for whowever hires the.
It was also 1 team with pretty similar strengths/weaknesses, and 1 team that had a fantastic mix of tanky, hard to kill melee units and glass cannons in the back.
I would like to see a four-way battle and see who can win out of a big 4 Way battle trying to say just a massive movement of troops and trying to figure out who you going to take out you going to save for later it'll be fun to see how the hell that would be
No secondary objectives either, just put together four standard playmats with ductape, get four armies with as many points as your dark little heart desires and let each player just go to town with each other, and hey maybe form and alliances and stab each other in the back!

Small request for the future if possible, occasionally if an attack profile is a interesting or potentially very important could you put its details off to the side similar to how you guys do stratagems? It would be very cool to see occasionally and of course not something to do for every attack just for an impactful shooting or melee attack.
Man, I'd love to play a battle against any of the crew members. I'd probably lose horribly, but I'd have fun. Something like this could be fun. I find Tycho super entertaining so I'd want him to be at the table, or at least near. I love his descriptions of things.

Hey guys! Love the battle reports! I wanted to suggest an idea for a battle - Tau Nick and Mr. initiative each with 2000 points of Tau and Orks (obviously) teamed up vs Tak playing Space Marines. With a special turn order - the Xenos go first, but ONLY one faction gets to go, then the Space Marines, then the other faction. The Xenos team gets to choose who goes first, and they can choose different each turn! Force them to figure out which part of the team can contribute the most, then force Tak to figure out what to do in response! Ultramarines with Thousand Sons ? HERESY !!! I really thought it would be Ultramarines with Tau and the Ultramarines drooling at the T'Au weaponry against the Necrons and Thousand Sons. And T'Au with Necrons makes just a little sense to be honest. But what the hell. And i had never heard of Baron of Dice before, but those dice look awesome, and this just against shows how much GW is dropping the ball.
It’s too bad Mubin went T-Sons because I think a more aggressive army like his World Eaters would have better complimented the Ultra-Marines. Granted that strong alpha-strike really put the Taukrons in a strong position from turn one.
The intimidation of somebody just finding genuine joy in everything so easily? Yeah, I get ya'. Hard to believe in it, depending on one's upbringing - hard to appreciate it too.
Eh, T'au and Necron have "collaborated" in the past: mostly bc the Necrons tend to ignore what they consider "beneath them" (correctly or not) while the T'au are one of a handful of societies in this setting not stupid enough to attack potential allies over things like "heresy". Usually though these are spontaneous alliances that end with the Necrons either abrubtly leaving if they got what they came for, or turning on the T'au if they haven't.
Concept for the battle: Blue boys go to world because they hear of possible heresy. Thousand sons found doing some heresy. They war. Underneath the stirrings of necrons is felt by all. Ceasefire between chaos and bluebies to take on the undead warriors. Tau who’ve been watching this whole thing from the moon see an opportunity for the greater good and step in next to the necrons in hopes of future allegiances with the undead super soldiers. What do you think?

Tau and Necron took so much firepower to the table that the Ultra/Chaos could not take it. Too many Rubric marines. I think some kind of beast/tank could have helped to soak up initial fire, so that the rubric marine could shoot more. Maybe just a Rhino could have been a good 75 points distraction, like a diversion.
Can someone please explain to me how the combat sequence worked around the 27:45 mark? An attached unit of Terminators attacked an attached/bodyguard enemy unit. After the terminators wiped out the bodyguard, the Terminator Captain piled in before making attacks at the remaining leader--is this correct? I would appreciate any info on this.
20:06 how did you get 20 hits out of 18 shots? if you have Exemplar of Kauyon you missed 5 got 4 6's so you get 17 hit not 20. also did you overcharge if you did not thin you only did 14 wounds and if you did you need to do 6 hazard test. ???
If a bodyguard unit is declared as an Oath of Moment target gets destroyed but the character lives, I do not believe the character can still be the oath target since the character is now its own separate unit after the bodyguard unit was destroyed.

I believe that Dreadnought is named Cocytus inspired by character from Overlord anime. It is a big, armored monster of a character and it fits well.

Tau and Necron took so much firepower to the table that the Ultra/Chaos could not take it. Too many Rubric marines. I think some kind of beast/tank could have helped to soak up initial fire, so that the rubric marine could shoot more. Maybe just a Rhino could have been a good 75 points distraction, like a diversion.
Can someone please explain to me how the combat sequence worked around the 27:45 mark? An attached unit of Terminators attacked an attached/bodyguard enemy unit. After the terminators wiped out the bodyguard, the Terminator Captain piled in before making attacks at the remaining leader--is this correct? I would appreciate any info on this.
I didn't spot the pile in move, but the leader is still eligible to attack if he was eligible before any models were removed.

20:06 how did you get 20 hits out of 18 shots? if you have Exemplar of Kauyon you missed 5 got 4 6's so you get 17 hit not 20. also did you overcharge if you did not thin you only did 14 wounds and if you did you need to do 6 hazard test. ???

If a bodyguard unit is declared as an Oath of Moment target gets destroyed but the character lives, I do not believe the character can still be the oath target since the character is now its own separate unit after the bodyguard unit was destroyed.
