I know it doesn't mean anything from me, but I think Vowles has a commendable approach to team management and leadership. His communication and openness is excellent. Details are everything.
It is so cool that James carries on the "post talk" series which he also did at Mercedes, he really brings with him all the positives form his prior workplace and his own bits
James's explanations are phenomenal and his technical expertise is clear--not to mention his obvious care and compassion for the drivers. I have so much hope for Williams under his leadership.
Love this, JV really seems like a great guy who loves what he does, and you can really tell from this. My only "complaint" with the video is that it would be more accessible for people with disabilities and function variations to have the questions read out load.
James as a racing fan I can't thank you enough for what you're doing. Not only to bring back Williams but how candid you are in these debriefs. With this type of leadership,,,,this team IS going to be in the points in the future.. 👍👍🏁
I agree on all of the positive comments. Vowles does a great job of evaluating and analyzing the race pros and cons and then presenting them clearly to this audience. It's interesting to see the young engineer Vowles in the Brawn GP documentary and how he's grown into his new roll, Same guy though which is positive.
This is BRILLIANT! KEEP THIS GOING!!!! Totally brings transparency on the team's adjustments and challenges. I'm the odd RBR and Merc fan- Rooting for WIlliams to climb up the ladder back to the good old days.
I can’t wait for the season when Williams is back up front fighting for wins and championships. It will definitely have Sir Williams with a tear in his eyes and he F1 community as a whole.
Thanks for the insight! Towards the end you discuss not foreseeing clear issues the car will have on certain tracks, which is a good prospect. It is a lot better for development to have a balanced car that could compete race to race, and I hope it works out! It's a real difference from last year(s) where the rocket ship worked well on low downforce tracks, but struggled everywhere else. Also well done on Q2 Alex, P12 is a very decent starting position for some points this week in Jeddah
very down to earth and realistic! I commend you for these characteristics and this debrief/analysis. I definitely am keeping my eyes on how things will develop at Williams. The car is a beauty but on the track a beast is required, so: much work to be done and that will take time of course. Also.. two strong punchy drivers are needed on the track not 1.5
@@0Synergy it would be cool to see a team breakthrough into the top 3. Even though I'm a ferrari fan I'm tired of merc, red bull and Ferrari being top 3 every year.
@@nickpalumbo8046 Yeah I agree for this year I want to see some proper upgrades (like the 2023 Canada upgrade) for next year I just want them to show us they can improve year on year doesn't matter how I just want to see that consistent upgrade schedule with better pace... also maybe consider dropping Logan for Kimi Antonelli or Ollie Bearman if he doesn't improve. Hopefully Vowles can mold the team into race winners.
@@0Synergy yeah I really wanted to believe in Sargent, but albon was racing with a car that had damage and still finished far ahead of him. Unless he shows some improvement this year, I dont see how they keep him.
@@nickpalumbo8046 Pretty much, what annoys me is he hasn't had his Piastri or Nyck or Lawson moments where you see his raw speed and talent or even a scenario where he beats Albon or something could even be a solid Q3.
this guy will be why williams gets back to being towards the top
couldn't agree more, they are very lucky to have him.

Best public debrief in the biz. Cheers Mr. Vowles

Great content! James is definitely the right guy for your organization! What an open and honest man, pure racer, great to see!

thanks for your feedback, clear and pragmatic, lot of love !
I love this, it’s so interesting. Williams is slowly becoming one of my favorite teams.
You have to love his logic. Really enjoy listening to these debriefs
This guy could read the Webster’s Dictionary to me and probably cure my insomnia 😅 he’s so soothing and articulate ❤
This is great to see from a organisation. Cheering on for Williams for the next few years to get to the top again

Wow, answers from the top, refreshing
being a williams fan in 2024 is definitely a good idea. they're going places (back to the top!!)
I wear my shirts like James with collar up it makes me feel like Batman
Love this segment!!

Big fan. Keep going.
Great job!
this year looks promising folk
Thank you for the transparency. I think we are all aboard the james vowel hype train
This man speaks and everyone automatically listens
I love how he is talking to us like we are a part of Williams. Hold on let me run through this brick wall while asking what can I do to help.
Right? Fuck I wish I went into F1 as a engineer or whatever working under this guy would cure my stress and anxiety day 1.
Im looking farwards to screaming at the tv when Williams gets a podium. But im ready for points this year.
love this
If Williams gave him this job before the regulations changed, they might actually be contenders.
Absolutely, but atleast he has the time to build up a good team for 2026.
