Albono's sense of humor is only getting better, he looks way more relaxed at Williams.
Less pressure, less press. I think it suits Albon more. I wish him all the best and hope he'll be in F1 for a long time. He's one very underrated imo.

Alex is one of the drivers who you think is shy and will barely speak during interviews. But he’s actually very eloquent and witty in answering all the questions. His humor really shined here!

My favourite driver on the grid. Not only is he kind, polite, funny, he’s also very very precise and articulates himself very well. I was lucky enough to meet him in Melbourne this year and he’s just as genuine in person as he comes across on screen. Team Albono always!

The way he explain things going on in Williams is also very respectful and well-articulated. He will always be the driver that I will support no matter what team he's in. I met Albono in Melbourne this year, he's such a friendly and laid-back guy and engaged heaps with fans. Hope he and the Williams team continue with this upwards trajectory!
Thanks Alex and GQ! I'm always astounded at the F1 drivers, the things they have to attend during a racing "weekend"(4 days) alone, the media, the fans, practices, team/engineer discussions, qualy, more team/engineerchats, couple more pressconferences, the whole buildup and then finally, that moment, when they are on the grid, doing what they do when the lights go out. Kimi's short sentences, make actual sence, sometimes. The whole shebang is just incredible. Hats off to you out there.

This is one of the few times the questions really have depth, normally they pick some really mid ones to answer, this feels personal and his answers are very insightful and sincere

I'm a Williams fan and I like him more then I liked our other drivers, George had the pace and our first podium in too long, but Alex always makes me smile when watching the races

Williams deserve to be absolutely nowhere today for the poor managerial decisions they made in the 1990s, such as making calamitous errors in the 1995 season and dismissing Hill for Frentzen in 1996

This was so educational and informative. Alex never lets us down. ❤
I attended the saturday DTM race at the Nürburgring that weekend and he DNFed. I watched quali on the sunday morning when he got pole and almost bought a ticket to drive back all the way there (about 200km) because I felt like he was gonna get it. I ended up having to babysit my sister's dog but otherwise I would have 1000% been to that race.
One of my favorute drivers of the current f1 roster.
He's been doing really well this season, he's slowly creeping to the top 10. His pace has been improved alot.
But besides f1 he's just a very awesome and funny guy.

I looked up the tallest drivers in F1 and yea, since 2000, he's the 2nd tallest driver ever, tied with 2 other Alexanders, Rossi and Wurz

The weight limit is actually not because of safety it's because of cost, the teams can make the cars lighter and safer, but it'll start another race of who can afford the most exotic materials to make their components lighter and stronger and the poor teams won't be able to keep up with titanium everywhere for example

what people dont understand is that albon is just as fast Charles Leclerc. they were both competing with each other in f2 and albon won lots of races and was almost always on the podium.
