Wrestling Bios Presents - The Final Days of The Ultimate Warrior
No one could have imagined seeing The Ultimate Warrior back on WWE TV screens in the year 2014, but this is exactly what happened. One of the most exciting and popular wrestling superstars of the late 80s and early 90s was coming back to accept a Hall of Fame induction, and after the history Warrior had with the WWE, many were surprised to see him accept this award.
The history between Vince McMahon and The Ultimate Warrior had been rocky with Warrior leaving the WWE on many occasions. Once retired, Warrior went on a public speaking tour and eventually, he was contacted by 2K in regards to appearing in a WWE video game. After coming to an agreement, Warrior eventually found his way back to the WWE where he would appear at the Hall of Fame in 2014 as an inductee, he would also appear at WrestleMania 30, and finally, The Ultimate Warrior made his last WWE appearance on the Raw following WrestleMania.
This video looks at Warrior’s final days in the WWE. Topics covered include:
02:02 - 2K gets the Warrior back for a game appearance in 2013
    03:09 - Ultimate Warrior’s Public Speaking
04:56 - The Self Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior Documentary
08:04 - Ultimate Warrior is announced for the 2014 Hall of Fame
13:31 - Hulk Hogan meets The Ultimate Warrior Backstage at WrestleMania 30
14:47 - Ultimate Warrior’s last WWE Promo on Raw

I think the Warrior knew his days were numbered, so he deliberately prepared for it by making amends and settling his accounts with everyone. Sometimes you do not know when you will draw your last breath, but it seemed the Warrior did know. As a fan, I am glad he seized upon his opportunity. RIP Warrior 2014.

I agree. It happened with my grandmother. People say she knew because of what she’d said just before that but she was making plans for a number of things.
As with Warrior she had minor symptoms that she attributed to dehydration, stress, and the weather. Warrior’s heart attack didn’t have to be fatal.

@@annetteslife Can... But if you're in tune with your body, you can know something is up before you ever have an actual heart attack. I worked with a guy once who said he'd not been feeling right for months. He finally decided to go to the doctor. They had him on an operation table that evening. They said he could've had a major heart attack at any second. He ended up getting a triple bypass operation.

Warrior had BALLS. In the ring and in real life. He never bowed down to anyone and always did it his own way. He never gave a f... about what other people thought and talked from his heart. He never sucked up to anybody and always took a stance for what he believed was right. He always treated his fans respectfully and stood up for his friends (like Randy Savage). That's why he stands out so much among other wrestlers and that's why he's awesome and still loved by fans.

Yeah, I agree, I watched the HOF on Saturday, didn't see the PPV on Sunday, so I didn't see him, watched his speech on Monday and he looked like he aged like 10+years from sat to mon, my exact words were, ''wooh something not right here'', died on Tuesday. RIP The Ultimate One.

"fans" are so hypocritical when it comes to the Ultimate Warrior. so many of them claim to have always hated him, but the fact is he was loved when he wrestled. He had an energy and character that was unmatched at the time. He is the only guy to rival Hogan's popularity at its height. They trash his in-ring ability but praise Goldberg, they trash his backstage attitude but praise HBK. The fact is that the Ultimate Warrior was one of the brightest flashes to ever hit wrestling, he burned fast and bright. Many wrestlers trash him due to jealousy; sure they were more talented but they didn't bring the crowds as the Ultimate Warrior did. Sadly, it took his death for people to stop lying and start looking at things from his perspective and for him to get the recognition he deserves.

Sorry, but he never rivaled Hogan in any way. Hogan put him over and made him, he then went on to drop that ball and due to his lack of professionalism, in ring ability, and flat out selfishness he did not work out. He was a P.O.S. as a person who bashed everyone who made him, he also was certifiably insane (changed his name legally to Warrior!). They did not have to bring him back, they did it out of compassion and forgiveness, remember he tried to hold the WWF hostage minutes before PPV's for more money after agreeing to less. Obviously you do not know much about the real Jim Hellwig, or don't want to see it.

I was completely mesmerised by The Ultimate Warrior when I was a kid. I genuinely believed he was like some wild human/gorilla hybrid they'd found in the middle of the amazon forest or something. The way he'd come sprinting to the ring, shake the hell out of the ropes, beat his chest and do that arm pumping motion like he was drawing energy from the air.. he just had a completely different presence to every other wrestler at the time. Absolute legend.

Thank you so much for this video series, man... As a lifelong warrior fan (the man and the character) people don't understand the magic that was Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage unless you lived it... It wasn't just about work rate, catchphrases or funny lines. Savage was intensity personified, something unlike people have ever seen in real life, Warrior was a real life comic character come to life again unlike anything you've ever seen and Hogan was a Saturday morning cartoon character defeating evil every Saturday on wwf TV.... Warrior was amazing. And he deserves to get remembered as such

I'm certain that he knew he was on short time when he mended fences. Knowing one's time is short tends to give one perspective, and often, an urge to reconcile one's self with their past. He may not have realized *how* short his time was, but he had to know it was close.
And what better way to make sure that they sing him to Valhalla?
