- Mazda makes some of the best driving smaller cars that can be bought for the money, but what happens when they make a big, three-row SUV? Does the new 3.3 liter straight six instill that "Zoom-Zoom" feeling into this big car? With this review we will find out. We will look at the powertrain, the styling, the cargo room, the passenger space, and the features.

Watched your Toyota Grandhighlander review as well. Very strange what you say; first row legroom and second row legroom is almost identical for toyota grandhighlander and mazda CX-90, why so different comments?, Also 47K+ Toyota grandhighlander XLE does not have anything, 47k +Mazda got at least moon roof. Have you also mention that Mazda has leather seats vs grandhighlander rubber ugly softex seat covers? . Also Mazda has "only" 280 hp but at 5000 RPM, I do not think you understand concept of usable power. Price-wise Mazda CX-90 and Toyota Grandhiglander XLE are almost identical and that was supposed to be compared or commented in your review. This is why I found it dishonest.
I appreciate you watching my videos and your criticism. I assure you I was giving my honest opion on both cars, I don't have a dog in this fight and I paid money out of my own pocket to rent both of them off of Turo to review. Truth be known as a rule of thumb I usually prefer driving Mazdas to Toyotas, but the Grand Highlander shocked me with how good it was and the CX-90 surprised me with how bad it was, so my subsequent excitement/disappointment may have shone through in the reivews.
I have Turbo S. On highway with cruise on I did 33MPG! Now I have a spacious, fast car with an economical engine! I love this car!
It did very well when I tested the fuel economy that’s for sure
I do agree that is the best vehicle in the segment if you using it as described
I had one as a rental and hit 38.9!!
CX-90 🖤
Did you even get to drive the vehicle? How did it drive? Or, is that not important?

I agree! All the missing features must be standard for the trim! Take a look at Subaru Ascent limited for the same price!
Last thing I want is a heavy suv with a CVT known for having longevity issues. HARD PASS.
Goes ahead and compares a RWD-biased platform to pricing on FWD-biased platforms and complains about what one gets for price. Also keep in mind that Mazda can be had at MSRP or lower vs Toyota’s lack of inventory and markups across the board…
Went to a Toyota dealership yesterday to look at the Grand Highlander. No way I’m paying for $5000 mark up.
@@winstondeocampo699Toyota dealer don't even bother about customer service. Just get them your money and don't waste their time.
11:00 Lane Keep Assist not so good
You dont have to get it , plasticy Kia or Hyundai or other cheesy Toyota or Honda will make you "happy" at the same time it will leave more CX90s on the dealers lot for those who know better .... thanks for not getting it you are allowing us to to get better deal and selection of CX90s
@@Leewilly440 Smart man , CX90 is a hidden secret that entire paid for car media is convincing against...
Yes, Mazda HAS lost its mind. There are COUNTLESS other cars with many more features for LESS money. This is just greedy.
What's the point of a 6'5" person evaluating second and third row leg room? Dumb
I work with what god gave me short stack
Did you drive it? Comments?

Yes, I agree it looks like a swing and a miss. These things happen in the automotive business.
Can’t win ‘em all
@CarDietrich
Well, Hard Worker 12 American Motors once manufactured a car named the Gremlin.
I feel like Mazda paid attention to odd things and acted like those would overcome the gaps - but it doesn’t. I’m leaning towards the pilot.
