This is a real treat from our archives from June 2009.
Here we see the firing or a 64 pr 58 cwt RML on a Common Garrison Carriage - but not with a blank charge, this time with a real projectile. The gun is aimed at a simulated wooden wall and the test firing was carried out at Fort Nelson by the Royal Armouries.
