Interesting how you load from the side and not the back. I think I will try this for the first cart of 9 next shift! They are upfront anyway but the other carts will still be in the back for me. I always load 3 totes at a time, meaning first 3 up top then next 3 on bottom and so on, this allows me to empty out the front of the van first and work my way to the back of the van.

BTW, I’m in the middle of switching my DSP. I ASKED to be offboard after I got the offer from another DSP. Also, the Flex gives you the option to switch/offboard after you get that invitation to sign up with Flex with the new DSP. FYI❗️

I do the same, expect I was told to go by addresses instead of the driver aid numbers. Partly, I wear glasses and those numbers are bit small to see clearly when I’m in a hurry. I also group addresses together and then according to stops for each bag. There are SO MANY ways to do it - to each their own.
When I had my one day training, the “trainer” 👀🙄😳…. Dump the entire bag in front, and we would stop at a stop and search through the mess to get a package. It was a nightmare and because he was in a hurry to get back, I had zero breaks or a lunch. We finished in 7 hours but it was SO stressful. And get this, people had loose dogs in their yard and he’s telling to still go and deliver that they would not bite 👀😡. Then he said, OH, I’m not afraid of dogs. WTF❗️🙀
