- The start of my FE3H Maddening Mode Sylvain Solo Run! I originally wanted to release it as one full video for the entire Academy Phase run, but editing all the footage is taking too long... So I decided to split it up into four parts!

Funny lil thing about Chapter 3, If I remember right, Catherine never attacks Lonato. Course the two greens with her will attack him, though I don't think they'd stand much of a chance
That's great to know! Thanks for the heads-up! Kinda funny considering the cutscene we get with her and Lonato... But yeah, those poor green ally units with her just evaporate in the first few turns in Maddening, so it's a non-issue lol

The best fix for Dex in a solo run, or any run really, is unlocking Thief at 10. 11 base Speed and Dex patches up most units in the game.

(I pre-recorded the entirety of the Academy Phase for this run already, and I’m happy to say that I do let Sylvain dabble in some Thievery and Assassination for several levels!)
I wish i could do this with dedue. It should be really easy with the right set up but due to the fact he joins so late really screw the challenge.
I totally get you! I’ve been considering trying a solo with all the Blue Lions, and when thinking about how a Dedue solo would go, it would be tricky because he’s MIA for a few chapters during the War Phase… 😔
Maybe you could add a clause where Byleth takes Dedue’s place in the solo for the chapters he’s gone? That’s how I’ve been thinking of going about a Dedue solo eventually!
@@AquarellaVonCaelumia If you want my recommendation I would rule it as for chapters the unit can't be deployed its not relevant to the challenge and no rules apply to those chapters. Basically until you get control of a unit the solo run rules don't apply. It's pretty relevant across mutable units. (lords, late recruitments, units that leave) all fit into that category. Its either that or hack the game to replace a filler unit with your challenge unit. Obviously one is easier to achieve than the other. It also really prevalent for hunting by day break because some units spawn at the back half of the map or not at all, same rules apply if you can't use them until you gain control of your solo run unit anything is fair game. In my opinion the solo run unit in question is already heavily punished for missing out on EXP so it balances out.
