If you don’t want to do maddening in its entirety, madddening with NG+ is still harder than Hard mode but not nearly as insane as maddening without it lol.
@@Aisluin I've only recently finished a Golden Deer run on Normal and I'm about halfway through a Blue Lions run on hard, I might give the Black Eagles a shot on Maddening with New Game+ if I feel like I don't suffer enough with Hard mode
I always forget to cook at all and I beat the routes no problem.
id always cook, battle, cook. the effects say in bold, coloured text that they last the entire month lol
@@jonathanodude6660 I was aware that it'd last the whole month, but I was under the impression when I wrote my first comment that only the most recent dish you cooked would be in effect, not that you could stack multiple dishes in a single month.
Couldn't Bernadetta replace Petra and just kill Gloucester from 2 tiles away by reaching her with Pass and using the Brave Bow, completely removing the necessity for Flayn to use Rescue? In that case, Dominic can be killed with a Longbow from three tiles away by any Falcon Knight or Wyvern Lord.
Alternatively, whoever replaces Flayn could use Smite on Petra before getting into position, allowing Petra to reach Gloucester without either Pass or Rescue.

I appreciate the work involved in this flawless victory; I try to keep my playthroughs straightforward (minimal reclasses, using the 'canon' classes) because min-maxing is one hell of a rabbit hole. Fun to snipe a specific goal tho.

Amazing clear! I thought I was cool for getting a one turn with a few elite kills when I played VW, but this makes that run look downright bad! Amazing strategy, and now I really want to see if I can pull this off in a run some day!

Something I'd like to point out with this strat is that it's pretty feesible to do the same general strat but instead kill Nemesis with the brave bow, or the Inexhaustible even. Even your Claude with his averages could reach the doubling threshold if you changed a skill for weight -3 to midigate AS penalties from your weapon, plus 4 special dance, plus 2 speed ring. This wouldn't help the reliability for the rest of the map though with how hard Lamine is to kill

Golden Deer was my first route and by the time I got to this mission, I didn't unlock Wind God for Claude yet, but was close, killed a few goons and by the time I had Felix and Lorenz pinned by Lamine, Claude unlocked it and I used it on Lamine with also a low accuracy due to the distance. Without that skill I'd be screwed
I wanna do this, but with Shamir replacing Claude (Claude might replace Leonie)
Falcon Knight Shamir with Yuri's relic and +1 move and using +2 move on Marianne.
Using Failnaught or Longbow she will be able to reach Lamine.
I'm gonna try it in my next VW playthrough.

No warp, rescue, or stride with the purpose of beating the map faster
No vantage insta kill combos and no dodge tanking
Finally no bolting, meteor, or Luna against bosses
Also no ng+, no dlc stat boosters or chalice, and no excessive grinding
Are you asking in the sense of “Is it possible?”, or do you mean to ask whether I personally can do that? The answer is yes to both. You’d want to use a more conservative style where you’re doing most of your combat on player phase, when you have the most control.

Actually, in this scenario, even with the extra strength both would be almost equally good; that's because the hit rate is lower with the killer bow. Before it rolls for crit it rolls for a hit; the chance of critting with Frailnaught is 59% while the chance of critting with the killer bow is 0.81 * 74% = 59.94%
Am more intrigued on how to get 2 of the same relic weapon then the inventory

You get one from a quest, but the other three have to come from an aux battle with meat reward. (You can reset to get the right meat if you want)

One question how are you obtained the Opera Co. Volunters?
You have to take Dorothea or Manuela to the story mission that takes place in Enbarr (on any route other than CF) and have them end their turn near the opera house.

Nevertheless, Your characters have very low stats. I can tell you didn’t train them efficiently.
Good job though, I’m impressed.
At the start of the video, he explains that he modified all of his units' stats to have their exact averages for their class paths, and listed the exact stat boosters he gave (which he chose to do minimally). This demonstration was to show how it was possible without really grinding.

How did you get 70 charm byleth lol. I’d have to see this on a legit save for it to really impress me. Anything is possible if you blow up units’ stats. This is just the least you have to cheat to get the perfect clear lol.
You get 2 Charm per month from perfect tea parties on birthdays, so that's like 36 points right there, plus 4 from the meals.
