You laugh, but Brokeback Mountain was a good movie and a smart choice for both of them. I also think the comic fan base shit on Ledger so much for being chosen as the Joker, one of his best roles. This is why I think its a good choice for actors to step out of their comfort roles. Tom Hanks is another perfect example of this.

He left out my favorite part of this story. After Jake and Heath did "Brokeback" and became really close friends, Baz Luhrmann called up Heath and talked to him about starring in "Australia." (The role ended up going to Hugh Jackman, but the film wasn't very good anyway.) When Heath told Jake, Jake said, "Oh, what'd you say?" and Heath said, "I told him to f*ck off." 🤣
He should definitely lead the next Nolan's movie.

He didn't audition for reeves batman.... apparently reeves wanted him, but he declined.....
As an actor you try for parts you hope to get them, but you go on so many auditions that you just don’t really care that much. But it’s got to be hard to try out for Batman and not get the part.

New actor and Batmans son is gonna be in it as robin there will be 2 different batmans going on at same time the Robert Pattinson one we got now and a new one for the DC shared universe so good chance he will be the next Batman
