I'd be interested to hear James’s thoughts on Mortal Terror-it’s a different take on a vampire story.
The Lonesome Hunters is fantastic, the best thing Tyler Crook has done to date. It's planned to run for 6 trades / 3 library editions.
That Harrow County volume is a steal. There's some material that is only available in the library editions, which are out of print and insanely expensive. However, all that stuff will be in this complete volume.
I’d also recommend Ash’s Cabin by Jen Wang. If I were a betting man, I'd bet this will get an Eisner nomination next year.

Little surprised there's not more James Tynion IV comics in the horror buff's cart (though Tynion's Department of Truth got a shoutout) - would've thought his stuff like Something is Killing the Children, The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos & any of his other Tiny Onion / Substack projects would've fallen into the horror category to varying degrees (not my personal preferred genre, but love Tynion's Detective Comics run and have enjoyed Christopher Chaos so far).
not a big Aquaman fan myself, but i do love Jackson Hyde (thanks Young Justice animated series) so Aquaman: The Becoming by Brandon Thomas was a great mini-series (i still gotta read my followup Aquamen miniseries).
I think we felt all the good horror Tynion stuff is mid storyline this month. We both read and LOVE his work and for sure will read all his stuff! Still yet to be sold on Aquaman.... it's a hard premise to get behind....
