Yeah, especially because it was before Netflix. Netflix is ruining F1 from a enjoyment stand point, because it has brought so mas toxicity to F1. Imagine how much more fun it would be without it. Just the drivers and teams against one another, without extra drama.

And in 1984 he lost the championship because he called for the race in Monaco to be stopped. Had he received full points for that race he would have won the title

Let's just admire the fact that Kimi nearly beat Michael in a 1 year old Mclaren car that wasn't even a 2003 spec.
Lauda's 1984 Portuguese GP was unbelievable, SO different from his "typical" races: always in attack mode. Prost payed the early finish in Monaco and the Austrian took a deserved world title.
Brazil 2008 will NEVER be forgotten.

Luckily they where not, because it was fine the way it was. And honestly, except that it has gotten F1 more money, Netflix is by far the worst thing that has ever happened to F1. It has become so toxic since then.

Guy crashtappen isn’t a thing anymore…he has really improved himself over the past years and if he was still crashing he would be lower in the standing and Lewis would run away with the title again

True. Those monsters were actually far too dangerous to race.
And prost won the Championship with a much inferior car compared to the williams

Fun fact - Prost could've been an 8-time World Champion but missed it by a combined total points of 12.5! He was an absolute beast but nobody talks much about him!

This. Also if dropped results were not a thing, he'd had at least 5. He's legitimately a 5 time champion if we count all races.
He's truly one of the greatest if not the greatest but is hardly mentioned by drivers. It's such a shame honestly
Probably the most underrated f1 world champion and he is one of the best f1 drivers of all time (in my opinion at least)

Yes, this is a biased opinion:
Kimi's 3 way fight against Alonso and Hamilton was the most dramatic season ever. Yes, 2008 Brazil was dramatic in itself, but only this one race. 2007 had drama for the pretty much the whole season (Hungary, China, Brazil as a few examples) and the comeback Kimi mounted, the odds he had overcome within the last 3 races was just brilliant to watch.
I was 8 years old, missing most GPs that weren't in Europe since TV time was restricted, but OH BOI, that last race with that result: Absolutely insane feeling.

Kimi Räikkönen really earned the 2007 world championship. Kimi had been close to the title as early as 2003 and 2005. Only misfortune and the reliability of the car had bothered him. In the 2007 season, the title finally came. And in his first Ferrari season. Kimi took six GP wins in the 2007 season, with Hamilton and Alonso each taking four wins. Kimi also took the most points, although he was suspended twice during the season for a technical failure at Barcelona and the Nurburgring. In both of these, Kimi would have been on the podium. Hamilton and Alonso had no interruptions due to technical failures at all.
