Thanks so much Andrew - really appreciate it. 🙏 This one was seriously nasty to pick apart. I think I might make a #rapidlick on that 4 note per string turn around he uses to go back to the previous strings in this run. It’s not super awkward to use or play quickly, but it’s the first time I’ve come across it. I have a suspicion he was just subconsciously dropping the middle note as he increased speed.😆🤷♂️🎸🍻
Thanks a bunch! 🙏 The isolated track really helped out a lot (I’ll link to it in the description). It took almost a whole weekend listening to it on repeat to figure out 🤣. Cheers! 🎸🍻
Great stuff for 30 odd years ive just been mashing out sloppy 12th fret pentatonics fast as i can then actually playing the bends part at section 5 as thats the only bit with a tune folk recognise lol. But this is great, ill certainly give this a learn 🤘
Thanks! 🙏 That’s honestly a pretty effective approach. John’s playing is so sloppy and drenched in effect, speed pentatonics would definitely get you though and probably sound fairly on point - Cheers! 🎸🍻
Amazing lesson Sir….lots of love put into this I see lol 🤘🏼 Best lesson on this solo on the net baby!

Holy shit you did a good job of transcribing a really tough to hear solo .
