Ha! Our trailer is in for some plumbing maintenance right now. The dealership just called to point out we have a screw coming up under the linoleum and quoted a ridiculous amount to repair. Thanks to your video, I'll save a few hundred bucks! Thank you and safe travels!
Thanks so much! Had the same problem in our 2021 Jayco Greyhawk. Watched your video, used your second fix, and it worked perfectly. Only needed a small cut. Easy fix!!
It certainly is a bit frustrating, though I understand that nothing is perfect. I was mentally prepared for much more to be wrong, so we've both been pleasantly surprised that there is less wrong with this unit than there was with both of our Airstreams in the first three months, and it doesn't have to go in for any of these things! After seeing the other rigs out on the market at the RV show yesterday (video coming up!) we are both quite glad we have this rig, it's perfect for our needs and style of living!
@@CozyLivingMachine You did the right thing for sure. I hear if you drop off your rig for warranty work it could be there for months too. I look forward to the next video !
Oh man. I’ve heard horror stories of people leaving it at a repair shop for over 8 months at a time. Absolutely not, I would be furious!! But I was lucky to call Jayco and have them send a list of recommended repair shops and ours local (Auburn, WA) is fast and does good work. They also haven’t BS’d us yet. It’s unfortunate that such is rare in the RV business… and thanks!!
@@CozyLivingMachine as you know our delivery date on our Entegra was pushed out to July. They cite issues with several Ford plant closures, available parts and employee retention. Needless to say I’m nervous with what we’ll end up with 😬
I’ve heard of that. It’s nuts to me that the Econolines are made at a single Ohio plant that also closed down for a few weeks last year as well. Simple parts that they get from a single mfr and there’s no redundancy. Or chips that are cheap, but not profitable for some companies to make when there’s so much demand for higher yield units. I was worried the quality of our rig would be 👎 but we’ve been pleasantly surprised! Knock on wood. 😂 hopefully it’s the same for your new home on wheels too!
We peeled up, screwed the bolt back in, filled with Gorilla Glue until it was about even with the OSB and then put it back down and smoothed it out by hand there. It's at least 95% of where it should be so we've been pretty happy and never notice it!

How did you get the "bump" out of the vinyl floor?

Next time don't make such a long cut. Just make an incision over the screw, and screw back down.
Typical new rv poor workmanship and lack of inspection, one more reason not to buy new
