Rangers in india paint eyes on the back of their spiked helmets, to confuse tigers.
Les Stroud talks about that on his survival trip in India on Survivorman.
Great video my friend, it's always good to get out regardless of our luck. Getting familiar with those areas for future trips is really how we become successful hunters. That's a beautiful area, dead deer in the water was interesting. 👍
Thanks for the support brother.
You should grow corn next to the carved rocks and make a DIY survival rabbit sandwich at the end of the year! Haha
Dude so needed some entertainment thanks for the upload
Thanks for coming along.
Top-notch content as always beautiful area
Like you said, boots on the ground is a good day. The weather does look beautiful as well, no too hot, green grass, how can you lose? Nice video today, thanks my friend!
excllent, walk around is always good, thanks for sharing..
Great video John!
Just being out in that beautiful back country is its own reward.
You will get those Ground Squirrels next time.
True that. Thanks for watching.
Just got into PCP rifles myself, always had break barrels but now i got a Gamo urban .22 and there is no going back lol. Now i want to get even more guns im looking at the Seneca eagle claw. Actually found ur channel on a forum for socal, i stay near Viejas casino and we have a ton of wild life up here but i mainly snuff out rats that literally destroy my things around here like wiring in my RV or cars. But ya the mountain lions are no joke, killed my neighbors chickens and i think even snagged another neighbors dog.
Looks so nice with the abundant moisture this spring. Buzzard probably was wanting to dine on the dead deer. Great vid, thanks for sharing!
The buzzard was eating the deer when I walked up. The wingspan on that bird was amazing.
Good video , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Thank you so much for the support much appreciated my friend.
Happy to see you were able to get out there. I'll have to join you on the next one.
Very nice area and video 🙂👍
Thanks for coming along my friend you would have a blast out here in the hills.
Lately our hunting spots have had NO ground squirrels and it's my opinion that maybe the soil is so saturated from the very wet winter and their burrows collapse/cave in. One area we hunted in April looked like that was happening. BTW, what do Sasquatch droppings look like, anyway??
You may be onto something with the heavy rains as far as Sasquatch droppings I would imagine it would look like mulch coming out of a wood chipper. Lol
It really sucks that you have to wait for a seaason for rabbit when here in South Dakota all you need is a small game license and you you can shoot anything up to coyotes all year. You need to leave Cali!
I agree.
They say a cougar won’t typically attack from the front. So if you wear your sunglasses on the back of your head, it will think you are looking at it.
I always thought one of those Groucho glasses and nose (with the mustache) would be a valuable asset in mountain lion country. 😉
I could only imagine the look from other hunters or hikers with them seeing a Groucho Marx pair of glasses and mustache on the back of my cowboy hat lol good stuff my friend thanks for watching.
do you eat ground squirrels ? we don't have them in east Tx , but I eat fox squirrels and cat squirrels .
No it’s mostly pest control here where I live ground squirrels have been found to have the bubonic plague due to flea infestation that they have. They also create a lot of damage to property by the holes that they dig it’s a danger to horses and livestock.
@@Wingman115 still I bet fried they'd taste good .
