If it's the last show it has been a hell of a good run , these podcasts helped me through 2 major knee operations and major prostate surgery last year good luck to Bruce he is finally going home , hope they keep it going but we still have ATM Eric to keep us going

Bret Hart vs Jerry Lawler at Summerslam 1993 is my favourite wrestling match of all time.
From Jerry's hilarious opening promo about the car wreck, the swerve with Doink, Lawler building up his heat to perfection, the drama of Bret not releasing the sharpshooter to the final swerve of Lawler actually winning.
The most beautifully booked match I have ever seen.

Also, Conrad put out the topic for next weeks episode. He is asking Bruce about Steve Austin 1997-2000. During the show, there was a link on their facebook to leave q's? I had a feeling the live shows would die down.

42:00 I love how Bruce explains it that back in the day doing something like taking a shit and Jerrys crown was “ just the way the guys let each other know that they didn’t like each other” and those type of ribs weren’t uncommon back then, but if the clique does it to a stuck up diva that nobody likes then everyone shits their pants and act like they’re the worst people in the world and the only people in the wrestling business that would do such a thing.
Is there a copy of the podcast that isn’t so cut up and choppy. Sounds like a lot of areas in this was cut out or messed up.

I had a feeling the live shows would be dying down to little or nothing after Starrcade. With this episode, The king has for sure left his mark in the business. The king was funny for sure when ever the ladies had a match, especially Mae Young and the Faboulous Moolah. I couldnt believe the accuser that claimed King had raped her when she didn't. This was basically ambulance chasing lawyers trying to make a payday. Also, I think a lot of the women on the women's roster hated Stacy Carter, who went by Miss Kitty and later The Kat. The reason why they were jealous of her had nothing due to with her relationship with The kIng. She had zero wrestling experience in the ring. She was getting her push cause of her looks. She won an Evening Gown Match in the swimming pool to become WWF Women's Champion.

I watched the interview that Taker recently did and that is the most I've heard him talk and the most animated I've seen him talking about something. I'm not sure if I'M ready to listen to the Undertaker talk for and hour on the regular because it kind of kills the mystique to me, but HE certainly seems ready *IF* that is what is about to happen.

As many of you have pointed out. Conrad seems soo down in the beginning here. They hit jack pot with their STW podcast. I can understand why Conrad feels down. But again, It might not be the end just because Bruce goes back. One can hope at least.
It always gets under my skin when people underrate The King. No he was never the WWF World Champion but he is one the GOATs. During the Territory days he drew money as THE man in CWA/USWA for over 2 decades. Plus he worked in GCW and SMW, and of course his WWF feud with Bret Hart.

It's funny. When the show first started Bruce had nothing.
Then somehow as the show went on it became successful. To the point that WWE noticed and gave Brucie his old job back.
The whole time Brucie acted like he would never go back to wwe. But yet...he never said anything really bad about WWE. He stayed politically correct.
Then the first chance he gets after being dumped by WWE he goes back.
So yea. I think Conrad has a right to be upset.

I remember during one podcast Bruce said that Conrad was family now. Selling t shirts. Doing live shows. Even though wwe cut Bruce loose with no chance of ever going back.
Now that Bruce is back (he always wanted to go back) you can bet that this show will slowly cease to exist.
Brucie will finish his commitments to the show. But after that when the travel and 18 hour days kick in....you will see less epsodes from Bruce.

I appreciate this show and enjoyed listening to it. It would be best just to move on rather than doing a watered-down version, which it will surely be (and quite honestly has been for awhile). Still, with that said, this show was a really fun listen for the first year and got me into wrestling podcasts, not because I watch the product but because I enjoy the storytelling. Thanks Conrad and Bruce.

Loved Lawler as a commentator but hated when he wrestled. Every time a commentator got in the ring it felt like they were short wrestlers to me and were just slapping together a last minute idea.
