Great vid as always Steve … Your humour & honesty is great as not afraid to show your mistakes as a lot would have been editing their crashes .. Another reason your the best on Utube ☘️😀👍
Thanks for the review! I'm over in BC and have been eyeing up those 3 jets and can't find much in them so thanks , seem like the are worth it they are about 140-150$ cad now
When I built my first RC plane & added a receiver to bind to my radio, I found it so simple compared to the FPV world. Now that I’ve done it to approximately 50 planes of all types with all different settings, I find everything just makes perfect sense. In one of my future videos I’ll do the entire receiver binding and plane setup.
Wow!!!!! What a flight!!!! I cant wait to get to actually talk with you and even get to share knoweledge witheach other and I can bring you on as a guest this coming thursday night on PhatPastors channel here on youtube Thursday night at 8 eastern 7 central ....cant wait to tty ...God bless you for all that you do and being inspirational and also a mentor to me as well.....
OMG !!!Captain!!!; I know you were trying to be "serious" !!! however the opening footage cracked us up no end !! (pardon the pun!) simply priceless!!; we were (my Wife) and I were also intrigued with the "hand toss" (say no more ..........!!!!!) great fun and many thanks for posting !
They should make those GoPro cameras with a tracking device so you can find it easily if lost, something you can expect to do with a action camera. Maybe connect one of those coin shaped trackers used for finding keys, although at a short Bluetooth range.
Hi Mr. Captain Drone! This is the fourth or fifth time I've watched this video and I've not gotten tired of it yet. (Never will) The jets fly beautifully, once in the air, sound really cool and stand out with the white snowy background. It must have been tough climbing the snowbank with the jet and tripod in one hand and the controller in the other ( balance wise). Just had to drop you a line and say you are very entertaining and real. And that's refreshing. Stay safe and don't crash any drones or jets.😏😨
In North America, anything that flies in the sky falls under the same 250 gram rule and up. However, because planes are line of sight (kept close by in viewing range of pilot) like RC helicopters, the local authorities don’t care about them.
HEY Steve ... your Brasil connection On my disfunctional P8 quad, figured out that the front camera was not working, ended up bugging the seller enough and he refunded my money. So now I have a P8 with only a bottom camera but has 3 good batteries. My beater drone ! Did buy another P8 out of SaoPaulo and everything works on it plus got 2 more batteries, and has a new improved App too. 2 drones and 5 batteries ! More beginner drones sitting in FL for my eventual arrival from eBay
Thinking of picking one of these up. Which one would you say is the easiest to fly? Loved the video, Good to know we all throw a lawn dart once in a while.
@CAPTAINDRONE798 cmon Steve people crash with gyros too lol I know you didn't crash on purpose 😅 i don't trust that banana hobby gyro, I have the f18 and f35 in the rtf but I have only flown the f18 and yeah the cgs are a nightmare lol
@@lewiemotorsports3616I have a video on RC Plane gyros coming out once FMS releases the new REFLEX V3. Gyros are great but not all work quickly and therefore can’t save your bacon. Banana hobby gyros are a joke for sure. I have had some good success with some no name inexpensive gyros in hand launch 50 and 64mm EDFs. Gyros from MotionRC are hit and miss.. some planes come with them and some handle strangely.
@CAPTAINDRONE798 you're absolutely right. 💯 I think vector and reflex gyros are pretty good (arrows and fms) my big planes I try to fly gyroless. I've learned alot from your channel thank you for your responses 🙏
Narrator: No he did not have the CG right. Edit: a couple notes: 1: A little nose heavy is ok, never tail heavy. 2: I hope you give iNav a try during plane week.
I live in the north west territories and can't get my hands on ant freewing or other American planes lucky youu I do have these little cheap 50mm planes aswell I got mine from great hobbies
As soon as "flying" an RC model includes compass, auto-stabilisation, gyros, etc., it becomes nonsense. Those "auto" fly aircrafts (like drones) fly by itself. Learning to fly a proper RC plane takes time and is surely not in an instant. Like everything in today's world. Made for quick "successful" impression of accomplishments, which, in fact, has nothing to do with RC flying. Welcome to the world of self steering cars and motorcycles. Self cooking microwaves and "smart" phones who most of the time, the owner is not even able to remember the number that belongs to it. But still, a good advertisement show.
The best crash videos of all times
The intro was hilarious🤣🤣🤣. Awesome review.
Captain Drone comedy airplane show…. Im 7 mins into the video and you already crashed 3 times 😂
Excellent Video. Really Nice RC Jets. Thank You.
Thanks 👍
Awesome fun video ,and some truly awesome quick flights!⚡️🔥👊🏼Thank you!
Great looking planes. Awesome review.

👍Another fun day in the snow!
Good job my Canadian Friend K for Kanada !! LOL !
😅😂 Hi Steve, good exhibition of aeronautical crashes!!!
"Why is there a tree 🌳 there?😳 -these are the existential questions in life!
Some time could you show us how to put in the receiver, where to get them and what to get. Or do they come with instructions?

Hi Steve. I saw that tree deliberately jump out in front of your flight path....👍
Very well done. Full view. Thumbs up. Ty for sharing.
Thanks for checking it out!
Nice!!! wow looks cold 🥶 also thanks for the sacrifice Captain Drone 👍
Trees love to eat drones / RC planes. Glad to see you're doing your part for the environment.
It's like they say Steve, "3rd time is a charm" for the second airplane takeoff. I enjoyed the video my friend, thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍
You got that right! It could have turned into a 30 min train wreak video!
Nice jets cool colors
Even Captains crash once in awhile
But, your not too vain to show it.
Thank-You Captain

Sorry, I don’t do guest appearances (perhaps you are thinking of someone else)

When things go wrong, sometimes they just became laughable 😊
thank you for specified the currency of the price you tell :) appreciated
Looks great fun From the UK
Awesome!!! I like those planes!

At least you have soft snow to cushion any crashes 😀
Is this pure LOS only and is there an FPV version? This seems to be a lot more pleasant as a park flier compared to multirotors.
Line of sight. You can make anything FPV if desired (watch my vid this Friday)

Thanks Matt! I have another video coming out (hopefully this month) of flying 3 jets (different ones) as the snow melts away.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Right on Mr. Captain. Always look forward to your newest videos.
Thanks for replying 👍
Seattle loves you.
Awesome.
Great video. Always fun when you maiden a new jet or plane! LOL
Yup, fingers crossed everytime
RC EVERYTHING.....PUT FPV ON EVERYTHING.....NOW THATS FUN💯💯💯
😂 Great flying, like you show good or bad flying
Great video Cap
Thanks for great RC plane video, but I still fly my drones. Happy fly
For today you are Captain Crash, but great video 👍🏿🚁📸📹🎥🎞️
How do these AIRPLANES rate with the 250g and over rules ?
Does that apply to these ?
In southern Brasil sweating like mad as you freeze
In North America, anything that flies in the sky falls under the same 250 gram rule and up. However, because planes are line of sight (kept close by in viewing range of pilot) like RC helicopters, the local authorities don’t care about them.
I love 50MM Jets ❤
glue an apple airtag to your go cameras maybe then you can find em lol

I need to start buying some soon and they will all crash too haha
Well, that cheered me up 😂
Good thing it was snowing 😂
Yes, those planes would be in worse condition had there been no snow.
Easy to do in the winter when the tree doesn't have leaves.
Thinking of picking one of these up. Which one would you say is the easiest to fly? Loved the video, Good to know we all throw a lawn dart once in a while.
Wow that started out just like the US Marine Corps trying to fly too! Remarkable prescience!
Hilarious! 😀
Did you fly any of them with a gyro?
Did you see the crashes? No gyro, except for the last one.

Lolol...snow dart!
id use under handed chucks and full throttle for planes that size .
Looks very cold

Nice jets! ✈ Did the tree cause any damage? 🌳
Some more helicopters please. 🚁
No damage to the plane. There will be a new helicopter video this month.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Alright, I look forward to seeing the video! 👍😎
Loads of fun! 😂
Captain centre of gravity
Best video opener ever, LMAO 😂
CG workshop by Captain Drone 😉
Good one!
It looks cold
Bet ya didn’t check lateral balance 😊

For FREEWING you have to order through MOTION RC and CASTLE RC I believe. That's what I have to do.
I confess I laughed, amazing. :-D
Decent price
Nose dive🤣🤣
Omg u kill me hilarious
Your take off and landing in opposite direction. Why
So that the planes end up on camera
😂😂👍👍❤

😂... Never noticed it before Steve.... You throw like a girl....and you don't like trees...😉
The reason I first time don't like this video is because I was hoping for big jet not this tiny foam 🧩
Why would someone fly a big jet that cost $500 in this weather condition? That’s the joy of flying little $100 jets
