Yeah… Doggie Walkers are everywhere. In my area, my RC Friends and I call humans that walk their dogs or just walk for health, “WALKERS” as per zombies, because these people are clueless that planes, helicopters and drones are flying above and around them and they just carry on walking in the path of flying things.

I never understood why anyone says wind as a negative with rc heli's. The best time to fly a heli is in the wind. It sounds amazing as it chops through and it flies better than any other machine. My best times are on windy days. Even without high rpm. 😂👍 Love your videos Steve! These heli's are what I like to take a break away from CP flying. I love the videos and the uh1-d heli, question i have is, whats the weight limit do you have to have maac for with these little helis or if its required at all?
I don’t have any idea about MAAC (does that still exist today?)… But I can say in pretty much every country around the globe it simply works like this. ANYTHING remotely flown can not exceed 250 grams in weight or else the operator requires certification. Some people are confused and think there is something called DRONE REGULATIONS…. Specific to drones. In reality it is just RPAS regulations (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems), which means HELICOPTERS, PLANES, DRONES fall under such regulations.
Hi Steve, I am glad that you have made a review of both helicopters. I had also spotted them at Banggood for a while. Look great. I'm also planning to buy one of these, thanks in advance for your tip. You have made a nice review as always. and beautifully filmed. Greetings from the Netherlands. Happy flying Steve 👍😃 🎮🚁🚁 🎬🎥
Hey Captain Drone, so both heli's are over 200 dollars but i found that the C189 helicopter (Lil bird combat heli without optical flow) is much cheaper but more worth it at a price of 144, but with only 1 battery. I got the 2 battery option in the Black style since it was on sale 2 weeks ago. I watched your review vid about the said helicopter i bought and i spent about 154 dollars in total for both shipping and extra battery. TL:DR, i got a cheaper beginner helicopter for 154 dollars. Best purchase since im getting into aviation RC, i have the Red Biplane off of Banggood as my starter piece in active flight training.
Excellent! The C189 is classified as an indoor/backyard “fun” helicopter. Once you can fly that one with no problem (try flying a circle around yourself with the nose facing the direction of flight… very difficult but with practice you’ll get it), then you can move up to the more powerful Helios like the E190/E186 and beyond.
The Iroquois is a stunning aircraft, and it flies exceptionally well. Watching the inverted Bell maneuver is nerve-wracking but impressive. I have a somewhat related question. I recently got a DJI Mini, and I wanted to confirm how to use the orbit mode. To set it, do you select yourself or the object you’re filming on the screen that shows the camera feed from the drone? Also, is it possible to use the orbit or follow mode to track one of the aircraft you’re flying? Or are they too small for the drone to recognize? I assume there’s a minimum size requirement for objects, but I haven’t checked the documentation yet. Thanks for the video, fun as always!!
To orbit anything, simply select it onscreen (it will show up as a POINT OF INTEREST... POI). Select direction to orbit and speed, then hit go. There are no GPS Camera drones on planet earth that can follow an RC Plane or RC Helicopter. Even following an RC Car is next to impossible if the car goes fast or changes direction quickly (as RC Cars do). Only FPV Drones flying in ACRO/MANUAL mode can chase such things with an experienced pilot at the controls.
Yes, I believe so. I got myself a remote ID broadcast model, 13gr, $29, register with FAA, $5 fee, take TRUST free test, then I am free like bird. Fly any thing up to 55lbs (?). One model can be used on many planes, for leisure only. 😂😂
Hi steve great video as usual,,,, very informative,,, my question is will that transmitter bind with Eachine e 135 ??? And also i think the batteries are the same ,,, are they ??? Thank you Tom
The manual says the HELICOPTERS are compatible with ELRS. Now I don’t know if they mean there is an ELRS receiver in the helicopter or it is compatible to accept an ELRS receiver. I don’t know if it works with the e135 remote, especially since the buttons are different.
You know what? When it comes to the "beginner" RC hobby, we live in a great time. Nowadays we get a high level of detail and flying fun at an "affordable" price. My wallet may be onion leather for the rest of this year, but next year I just have to have that beautiful Huey.😁Great- and informative video. Thanks for sharing.🙂

hello again from the UK , in some of your videos you have a camera mounted to the tail boom of your rc helicopters , can you send me a link for the camera , i am making a low budget film using a rc heli and would like to recreate that shot
In every video where I place a small camera on a Helicopter or Plane, I always place the link to the camera below the video. Look in the video description of any of my videos where a tiny camera is used and you’ll find the link.
Hello Steve , great video 👍 but i have a question : what IS the technical différence between E120 (for exemple) and those hélicopters ? Ok for brushless motor, but for the rest ? Cause the Price very expensive ( around 250 for E190 / 70 for E120) thanks again😊
Can you fly it upside down without using the Flip Button and is the Throttle stick reversed like other 3D helicopters without using the Flip Button ? Also is the Main Rotor motor direct drive or Geared ?
You CAN NOT fly inverted without the helicopter doing it for you (There is no 3D control). Also, as noted in the video, when you are inverted, the controls are reversed so that it feels like you are flying proper side up (they make it easy for beginners).
As noted in the video, they are the same because they are made by the same company (only the paint is slightly different, one is darker than the other). Price is also different.
In some countries, like the USA there is this goofy thing called REMOTE ID, and in that country, if you are a law abiding citizen and you fly something remotely controlled that weighs 250 grams or more, and you fly it in the vicinity of humans that can spot you flying, then the government would like, for the security of the citizens, that you enable remote ID. Obviously, if you fly such things in locations where humans won’t bother you and you won’t bother humans, there is no logical reason to actually use remote ID. Thankfully not many countries have adopted this Remote ID thingy yet, but in time I’m sure many will in time.
