Now I'm not a model plane enthusiast, I know nothing about these incredible RC model planes but I do love watching them, mainly because I used to build model bikes and tanks from Tamaya and I seriously appreciate the work that these dedicated enthusiasts put into them. That being said, until this video I have only eve watched flight compilations - and never a review of one that can be purchased as a complete plane in kit form! With that in mind then, I always assumed the jet and prop engines in all these aircraft ran on liquid fuel and that maybe a battery was needed to start them and to provide power to the lights, transmitter/receiver and control surfaces and so forth. Imagine my surprise then to see that they actually run on batteries! It is true - one does learn something new every day. This was an amazing model and it sounded absolutely amazing. Incredible drone piloting too...
@CAPTAINDRONE798 problem is it has the same powerplant of my 90mm F22s and F18s but heavier. Seriously considering upgrading it to an 8S system to give it more punch 👊 I like it as is, but I think it might be even better. 😏
Cool fast plane, moves as good as it looks. Keep the interesting and fun videos coming, specially today after receiving bad news that my sister passed away, feel watching videos such as these which I always enjoy can help me relax and get some sleep, distraction is always helpful at times like these. Am always curious on what you have coming in your next video. Thanks Steve 👍✈️👍
What's better than one Steve to start my day? How about another great performance by Cap'n and the Jedi 😎. Great-looking jet, terrific footage and great review as always!
Steve wish i was flexible enough to set on my legs, I enjoyed this video, really like when you film using a drone that follows, really professional videos. Thank you.
That plane looks awesome in the air and on the ground. The kids probably would like to watch you fly the plane than run around the track. I would for sure🤣. Another good Video under your belt. 👍👍👨🦳
Hey Steve, as far as the onboard footage, I would imagine you were using that little white stick on camera but while it was in the air, it looked like the video would try to stay level (kinda like using a gimbal) is that just part of Video Stablation? That would be so cool to have an FPV camera (the kind where you can turn your head and look side to side) 🤔 😍 😁
@@johncalhoun1815Yes the camera has stabilization built in, when you place the video into INSTA360 studio you can pick HORIZON LEVEL or FPV LEVEL. I always select FPV LEVEL.
Ok !; well done Captain and Jedi Steve!; now, I am going to throw out a Conspiracy theory here! ; the " human kids" were probably "Tractor Mans" (sorry, couldnt help that!!!) seriously , the DJI tracking footage was superb! (well done Captain) ; cant wait for the next joint venture between you both !!!!
You are 100% correct. I think Steve needs to contact the school and get a schedule so they can fly when the kids are in class. I don't want to sound like a Keren but, that jet going 100mph and let's just say it's 2 Lbs that is 668.87 Lbs of kinetic energy and with that slim pointed nose cone bad thing could kill a person in a heartbeat. 😢
The school is built near a public park. The public park is used for soccer, dog walking and flying. The school knows we fly and they also know we are safe… but when they unleash the kids on us while the plane is in flight, that is another thing. I had a chat with the teacher.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Steve, as in the movie (My Cousin Vinny) your story doesn't hold water, as we watch the video the little shits are already out there before the plane takes off. 🤔 🙄 nice try tho🤣 lol
The F-16 is a great looking plane. It is definitely one of the faster planes on the market. I wonder if someone is selling a set of Ukrainian Livery decales for it...
Hope you are cooking the X1 Pro/Max review. I have been flying it for a month already. But I would like to know your opinion and maybe a comparison with the Neo.
My RC Plane collection changes weekly. I buy planes, fly them, then sell them in order to buy more. There are no shortage of friends who wish to buy my planes.
I appreciate the videos you put up, but I am very concerned about the people around the vicinity when you fly. The rules say you should be 150 meters away from other residential or commercial buildings. At least that is the rule in EU, unless you have a certified commercial operator license. I know the rules are a kill joy, but if we don't respect the rules now then the rules are going to get only stricter. I would like to hear your view on it. Having said all this, great Video!
In much of the world it works like this…. All is wonderful until some idiot complains. The school is built near a city public park. The park is used for soccer, football, cricket, dog walking and RC Hobby. Kids are normally in class and if they come outdoors the teachers know to wait until all planes, drones, helicopters land (we are very friendly in Canada). But in this case, the teacher told the kids to run to a field far from us, and all the kids ran by us while the plane was in flight. I had a chat with the teacher.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798you still took off with people very close by and that track is very clearly shared use. It would’ve been smarter to wait until there were no people on or near your “runway” or under your area of intended flight. I’m not sure what Canadian law states, but operating over people without their involvement is illegal without a special waiver (e.g. a special event like a music festival) in the US. This was reckless and doesn’t reflect well on our hobby.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks Cap! Would u recommend this to a beginner pilot? I've started with the Volantex Ranger Stunt 600 for a month now and considering getting my first EDF. Will this be a good choice? 😉

Thank you very kindly! I’m glad to read you enjoyed the vid.
Great video. Another favorite, been flying my 90mm Freewing F-16 of late though.
Glad you're enjoying it. I have many 90mm RC Planes, but I’ve never owned a 90mm F16.

Maybe not the best location to fly but she looks great in the air!

Great review on a very cool jet!

Flying around the kids must have been scary? Mmm steve no flying field in your area. Me and my brother used to fly at a school years ago
I'm very surprised they can fly in a school 🏫 😳 zone. That's a big NO in my book.

To be honest i think the trailing link nose gear of the freewing is better overall.
The lights etc look awesome of this jet

At about 12:1 and 100 mph, the scale speed of 1,200 mph is actually a little below the real plane's top of 1,500 mph. Pretty close though!
